I like how everything is vanishing in the memories.But what does the Dumbuldors saying "Its a lie" refers to? and its a bit too much of him to say "you must not fail" and why Harry stood so still while she was trying to kiss him? and when Hermione says "You need us"-is that at the final and if is where is Ron? This is gonna be THE BEST HARRY POTTER MOVIE EVER.
The music kills me. Its awesome.
Everything is in the trailer. And cant believe they are going so faithful to the book. There is soooo much in it. The bridge scene looks amazing. Hogwarts Express in the snow breaks my heart. THE ENTRANCE to the grounds FINALLY. The dark mark, the infieri, the amortentia, quidditch, OH MY GOD. I hate Warner Brothers. They are making us SUFFER. Each trailer is better than the other...OMG. OH MY GOD. I watched that... and I watched my reaction... Basically my smile got bigger the entire time (IT LOOKS BLOODY BRILLIANT) and then it got to Hermione crying and the Dark Mark and then Harry screams, "FIGHT BACK YOU COWARD" and the bridge collapses and then... omg. I started crying. For the first time, besides Cedrics death scene, I have cried because of a Harry Potter movie. They have gotten it right. This movie is going to be EPIC.

I like the trailer, but once again, almost no Snape. Theres never much Snape. I like the bit of humor, but if this film is mostly teenage hormones, Ill be sorely disappointed.
To answer you Slavka, when Dumbledore says, "Its a lie", he is referring to Slughorns initial memory. Slughorn has altered it, it is not a true recollection of events.
Im not certain of the half second that Severus is on and casting a curse is him casting the Avada Kedavra or not. Ill have to watch it a few hundred more times...

I couldnt film my reaction (alas!), but suffice to say, I started out holding my breath, then I started smiling and then, yes, I got pretty teary-eyed. Then I called my boyfriend and hyperventilated.

avadakedavra, i think hermiones hair is like that in that scene because the potion fumes make it all puffy idk. and did anyone elses heart skip a beat when draco looked up like that, all broken down and crying. that was so intense!!! and ugh of course they just show a little bit of harry and ginnys kiss and not the whole thing! and i want to scream right now cause this trailer is freakin awesome but my mom is watching a movie so i cant. im forced to stuff my fist in my mouth so she wont get mad!! why do we have to wait for july when we should be watching it next week??!!

WOW! HBP is actually one of my least favourite books in the series (not that its bad, I just like other ones better) but this looks like its going to be the best movie weve seen so far! Im disappointed in the delay even more now, thanks anyway for the trailer WB.

Beautiful. Absolutely effing freaking beautiful. WB poured a lot of money into this and used it well. It shows. This isnt going to be a popular viewpoint, but I cant blame them for retiming the release. They have every right to get a good return on their investment ... which has obviously been tremendous.

I LOVED the trailer (but I still hate WB). This trailer was really funny, yet strangely serious at the same time. I was surprised at the amount of new material they showed because I thought they would have waited until closer to next July. Also, am I the only one that has noticed that they really like to use the smoky mist effect on a lot of people and objects?

The Trailer looks really awesome. HOWEVER i am DEAF... i am dying to know what they are saying there. So i know it is A LOT to ask from you, but can you write down word for word of what was being said by everyone in the trailer so i can follow it as i watch it for the 3rd time. THANKS!! Even though i cannot understand what was being said, but the movie looks like theyre doing chapter to chapter which they havent really done that much in any HP films WHICH is so perfect for us! :-D

I just watched the trailer scene by scene and I saw something, when Harry and Dumbledore are apparating (sp?) they are a Privet Drive, but when you see the arrive it is a different scene, its the Astromy (sp?) tower, right before Dumbledores death!!!! This is most definitely the best trailer yet! The other ones, to be honest, didnt get me all that excited about the movie. But this one had me jumping up and down! Its probably the best HBP trailer Ive seen so far - the music, the special effects, and the cut tos are perfect. You know, what makes a movie be fast and action packed is the most camere shots and most cut tos, so the trailer gives me what I need very much! The sad part is that the movie will be out in July 2009, which sucks! Uhhh... WB, I dont know what to say to you. I cant even swear to you know, because the magnificent trailer ROCKS!

There are 3 words that can sum up my reaction to the latest trailer: GREAT, FUNNY AND A TEAR-JERKER! I had goosebumps while watching the trailer. It simply captures the important highlights of the movie. I hope that there will be a Dumbledores funeral but that seems to a futile wishful thinking. Ive shared the trailer with my cousin and her husband and they simply loved it. I am keeping my fingers crossed that the movie will exceed my expectations. Its a bit downer that we have to wait til next year though.
NOTE: I know this is just my opnion but I know there will be alot of people who will disagree with what I have to say and there will be those who will agree wtih me. I apologize if you find it a bit cocky.....
TWILIGHT really is riding the Harry Potter franchises popularity by premiering this specific trailer with the movie so that they can get more revenues. I know there are lots of twilight fans out there but its a downright slap in the face doing this. They are convincing people to watch the movie just so they can watch the trailer. Heres some advice, just watch Twilight if you really like it and not for the sake of the Harry Potter trailer. If you want to see the trailer all you need to do is download it here or watch it on you tube.

IF you look at the one with the gate opening to Hogwarts, you will see Harry and Luna walking toward to the opening gate which has bunchful of luggages behind it. It looks like that TONKS wont be able to escort Harry off of the train after the incident with Malfoy in his carriage on the train. It will be LUNA who will be escorting Harry off of the train. That is what it looks like. What do you think?

they are apparating from privet drive or wherever it is that they apparate from when they are going to slughorns house at the beginning of hbp, but it appears that in the very next scene, they are arriving in a tower, probably the astronomy tower after finding the fake horcrux. im not sure why they put these two scenes together, but oh well!

Also im really hoping that dumbledores death occurs at the TOP of the tower... It just doesnt seem that dramatic if he falls out that opening in the room (which it appears to be unless belatrix sees dumbledore fall from the lower level). Really liked the disapparating scene and alan rickman walking through hogwarts and draco in the mirror.

As for MuggleinNM, Thanks for telling what the trailer was saying, and i live in a major city so of course they do have open captioned movies. However the bad part is i have to wait 2 to 3 weeks after it comes out for the movie to be made into closed captioned. So i have to suffer. :-( but i will be going with a big group of my Deaf friends and ive waited this long so another 2 to 3 weeks wont kill me! So i wont be reading any Harry Potter websites the day it comes out until i have seen the movie first. I know you all will spoil it for me! :-P That will be the hardest part since i check Mugglenet everyday!

if you think about it, not long after they said about moving the movie to next yr they said that the movie was only like 60% done and YES it might have been able to be completed but theres a chance that the rushing could have screwed the entire movie and this way they have more time to make an epic movie, which this trailer truely shows. I finally got to see the trailer on youtube. I watched it twice and I still didnt see Snape kill Dumbledore. Will have to watch again. We know Harrys line " Come back and fight you coward", but does Snape scream back, "Dont call me coward?" Whats the point of having the one line and not the other? I thought Twilight was a Warner Brothers movie and that was why the HBP trailer was linked to it. But apparently not. I still think the HBP movie was moved just for the Twilight movie. This might not be true, but its too much of a coincidence to think otherwise.

Thats sad that you have to wait so long for the movie. But think positively - you were at least able to read every book when it came out. In out country only people that really understands English a lot can read it the moment it comes out. All the others must wait 6-10 months for the translation. :) And in this time everyone gets spoiled. I had to wait soo long, when I was younger, luckily I could read the last two books in English, but still didnt understand many parts and was happy to understand it fully when the translation in my native language came out. :)

Ishi, OH, that isnt good that you had to wait THAT long for the books to come out. Your english is very good! Actually i started reading harry potter about 2 weeks before the 6th book came out. I wasnt with the crowd back then when it first came out. Then i had so much time one summer and book 1 to 5 was sitting there waiting for me to read, so i finally read it all and was SO hooked ever since! I even bought all 4 DVD movies on the same night i finished book 5. So i am joining the harry potter world a lot later! BUT luckly i have seen all the movies in the movie theater due to my roomate dragging me along with her! :-D i am actually psyched about the new movie coming out!!

I just downloaded the trailer to my windows media player and it looks great! I cant wait il July..Too bad it wont be out this week, I was all set to see it at my local theater here in town.
I loved Lunas scene and the scene in the cave with the fire and Harry and Dumbledor in the middle. Really cool special effects
I was trying to picture im Broadbent, (I hope thats his name, Jim, that is)
as Slughorn with the Walrus mustache, but I see hes clean shaven, in the trailer.
All in all I enjoyed seeing it and Ill be watching it quite a few times, now that I have it on my computer! ;0)

In any case, I thought the trailer was very well done. However, I reserve judgement because I thought the same of the PoA trailer, and that was one of my least favorite of the movies.
I do have three problems so far, though.
The first is from one of the other trailers: the orphanage scene. Specifically, the fact that Riddle didnt seem at all upset about the fact that Dumbledore had lit his armoire on fire. However, that could simply be because they meshed scenes together, so you dont see his reaction to that in the trailer.
The other two come from this trailer: Slughorns appearance and Harry and Dumbledores side-along apparition.
For Slughorn, although I think he looks right in the face, hes not anywhere near as fat as I imagined him.
I would think the apparition thing speaks for itself. I think the problem is that the director has trouble picturing it, so just does what he sees fit. Its kind of like in GoF, with the portkey thing and everyone floating in the air.

Wow!!! When I saw this, I was "WOW" it was great... sadly no one else in my family was as excited as I was when I saw it, I showed it to my sister, who likes, but does not love Harry Potter like I do. So she said it was nice.... I think it was an amazing trailer... I love Dumbledore and Harry standing on the cliff... Draco, his face was paler than usual, he looked messed up. And I thought it was hilarious when Dumbledore asks Harry at the begging if hes wondering why they are there and Harry answers "Actually, Sir. After all these years I kind of just go along with it." And funnier Ron asking Harry to introduce her to a girl hes supposedly in love with, but has never met. And I bet you all notice; that at the beginning when Dumbledore and Harry apparate, the next scene is they appear in the clock tower, and Dumbledore is leaning on Harry, thats right after they leave the cave on the cliffside...
But before I go on forever.... just to say... I LOVED IT... also finally a little Harry and Ginny going on...

Okay I am loving these trailers that WB keeps putting out on the Net, but I still am angry that next Friday is the 21st and the movie wont be in theaters.
At the rate they are going, why dont they just skip the theater and release the film on the Net? Slowly every piece of the film, by trailer or still photo is being released anyway!

This trailer is amazing. My favorite part of it is the bridge scene with "HARRY!!!!!!" yelled. I was listening to MC last nite and it said what was your reaction; Well, my reaction was, Oh my goodness, how many trailers are we going to get?

No! Look at what WB is trying to do to you! Cant you guys see? Did everyone forget about them changing the movies release to next summer? The movie should be coming out this November 21st! Look how sly they are, releasing this trailer out of the blue to help you forget about the 21st... What happened to "lets show how unwise it is to mess with the Harry Potter fandom"?!

Did you see the brief glimpse of Harry going closer towards the girl and try to kiss her? Is that Ginny? It didnt look like her :/

Does anyone else feel that we are all being swamped with photos, clips, trailers and so on, that its almost as if we have seen the movie already? If I put together all the pictures from the film and made a little flip book, that would about cover it, wouldnt it?
It seems to me that they regret the decision to change the release date and are making it up to us by giving away too much too soon. For myself, I prefer to be surprised by the movies and see what it is they did to a scene or a characters appearance. I feel like all the excitement is ebbing away as more and more is leaked and created to keep us happy for the time being.

Right now Alan Horn might be telling some other guys from WB: "See, I did tell you, theyre just kids and theyre addicted. Just let them calm down for a while, then give them a lot of pics and trailers and they will be all anxious to go see the movie when it comes out and theyll be so happy as if nothing had ever happened. We can do with them whatever we like, theyll always be eager to pay." Harry Potter fans, What about standing together and teaching Warner Brothers a lesson? For heavens sake, why are so many people so delighted about this much too early trailer? Its like the silver hand Wormtail got and he was so happy about it too.

OH get over yourself Plugcollector, who cares about the date change, just be a proper harry potter fan and suck it up. If you look on th ebright side, hp will come every year starting from 2009, and id rather have that since HBP and DH are so similar more than OOTP.

I would like to comment on the fact the trailer on the Twilight was not a new one. It was the same one that has been out showing Dumbledore going and getting Tom and telling him about him being different. As well as the trailer saying Nov. as the release date. I was dissappointed in that I was looking forward to seeing the new trailer on the big screen.

Merlins pants this trailer is AMAZING!There is so much in it, the movie is going to be so freaking amazing!I cant wait! It also seems that it i sgoingt to be really faithful to the book and I am really grateful for that! How great is the bridge scene?!! And I love the "new" music!
