The BBC has announced that they will be conducting an interview with Luna Lovegood actress Evanna Lynch tomorrow, at 5:25 PM in the UK.

To be honest.... I think playing Luna is a tough role to play so, Im not too sure if shell be able to act that dreamy and I duno.... weird!!!! so Im looking forward to see if she can pull it off in the movie or do you guys think the director will just ask her to play luna simply as a quiet girl? I really hope they stick to the details of the book.

I think she definately looks the part. Im taking Rowlings word for it when she thinks shes perfect. Evanna could be looking through these comments right now and if shes already seeing people questioning her ability to fill this role, honestly, it hurts. Especially for someone so young. So lets keep any comments that are negative reguarding her ability to act to yourselves, because it serves no purpose.

well, she wont be perfect for everyone. a lot of people ignore the description in the books and go on their own. my mental image of luna and the other characters comes from mary grandpres illustrations. theyre very good. then again, the first time i read the 5th book, i imagined luna with strawberry blonde hair. although evanna looks perfect for the role too. =]. i hope that the interview goes well, and that theyll post a transcript of it, because id rather read it than watch it.

When I saw the very first official picture of Evanna (the one where she is holding the book by the tree or something like that) I said "what the hell". She didnt look like Luna at all. But when the second picture came out, i could clearly see those wide blue eyes, blonde Lunaish hair, and i knew that the casting directors had chosen the perfect Luna. She had that dreamy look taht Luna has.

and yes i used to imagine luna with brown hair then changed it when i realised i was wrong.
cant wait,i think the interview will turn out to be more of a mugglenet fan visiting the set report than an interview of a harry potter actor lol

Lynch is a huge Harry Potter fan and, according to her family, is "obsessed" with the series. In 2003, Evanna met J.K. Rowling and recieved a signed copy of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix! She was let out of hospital to do so. Evanna had told Jo that she would never be cast in the film becuase she lived in a place called Termonfeckin, where it was too quiet for anything exciting. She recieved a letter from Rowling that responded, "Dont be too hard on Termonfeckin, it does have a lovely name". Rowling met Evanna for a second time on the Leavsden lot in the early stages of the fifth films production. After a long chat, Jo had on thing to say about Evanna portraying Luna: "PERFECT"!!!!

Hooray! Evanna looks awesome, and I loved her outfit in the pictures, even if it isnt her Luna costume. I went on Jos description of Luna, and whilst she doesnt look exactly the same as my mental image, I dont really expect the movie cast to, anyway. But shes going to make a perfect movie!Luna, even if its just visually. But I guess they liked her acting, too, since they chose her. So YAY Im definitely going to be watching the interview.
