I defiantly want to write something!

OHMAN. i actually LOVE 100 cupboards. i found it in my local, teensie-weensie library last summer, but i had no idea the sequel was out, so thank you, mugglenet. this sounds like an amazing contest. if i can find the time, i will most certainly enter...and buy Mr. Wilsons new book that I apparently didnt get the memo on hahaha.

The prize isnt that great. :s

Chommy- its not about the prize! Its about getting a chance to write about something you love- or that has changed your life in some way. I wiLL defiantly be entering! Good luck to everyone

haa thats cool!

I love how they think a good prize would be books ;]. Thats never a good incentive to write an essay. If the prize were something cool, like a life-size hippogriff or something, theyd get essays by the buttload.

Maybe if the prize was like a publishing contract, Id consider it. Yeah I know one essay cant accurately predict whether someone could become a good author or not . . . but still.

Is there an age limit on this? Im 15 - is that too old/young?

Posted by: Kiran Potter

this is great! magical stories are really important. Does anyone know how old you have to be to do this? Im 20 now. I really want the prize lol ...books are the best thing ever.

Wonderful! I love the essay prompt. This is going to be fun! Thanks Random House and Mugglenet, of course!
