JK Rowling waves her graffiti wand at Morningside hospital
The Scotsman is reporting that Potter author JK Rowling recently visited a Scotland hospital and left them some special art:Ms Rowling, 43, daubed graffiti on the walls of the Young People's Unit at the Royal Edinburgh Hospital in Morningside, which cares for teenagers with complex psychiatric conditions.
Consultant psychologist Dr Jane Morris said: "She really does spread magic. She's a natural and knows how to talk to young people. And she's extremely cool. She does graffiti on the walls which is probably worth a fortune.
"She's drawn all of us and wrote 'JK Rowling was here'."
You can read the full report right here. Thanks to Mike for the tip!

Cool, I'd like to see it!
that's a bit weird but ok. she's cool.
I wish she could come and do that in MY neighborhood... or what more, MY college dorm :)
Royal Edinburgh Hospital is in Edinburgh, not England. I stay near Morningside :)
If I did that I'd be charged for vandalism. Lol!
Oh, wow! That is unbelievably cool- she drew them all? Come draw ME, JKR!
Aww, I love her.
That's so nice. =]
That's pretty cool! I think that Jo is actually a pretty good artist based off her drawing in Beedle.
That's so cool!

jeez shes really getting into graffiti, first on the bust of hermes at the ballmoral hotel, now this xD
THIS LADY IS OUT OF CONTROL!!!!!! First the hermes statue, now a hospital!!!! lol shes bad@$$
OK, and the hospital is now declared a Holy Place up for pilgrimage? any healing powers attributed to that wall yet?
hmm..her next stop should be St Charles Missouri lol
That's cool!Is there any pictures of the drawings?
wish she'd come and draw on my walls! that was really nice of her to do that!
She does pretty charming drawings actually: like someone mentioned above here hand-drawn illustrations for Beedle the Bard i glimpsed. Makes me think of how all those Loire castles in France have layer upon layer of scratched graffity on their walls, some as far back as the 1500's. The further back you go in history, the more strangely different and refined the lettering on these walls is... ...it's as if people had more time and attention to develope some sort of sensibility and charm in their writing... R
jo is going gangstaaa lol jp thats really cool! id like to see the grafiti
