The Sun recently reported that a second Half-Blood Prince screening occurred in London, and countless visitors have e-mailed us with the report. The Sun's story quoted Potter fans who were not happy with the film. As it turns out, Warner Brothers contacted us yesterday and told us that this article is not accurate. There was not a second screening of the film, and the quotes from fans were from months ago after the first screening in Chicago.

Yey, First! Well I hope that means that they made the necessary changes foor the movie to be as it should be! I mean not a romantic comedy, but a great movie

Posted by: - Posted on: 2009-03-13 14:34:08

...which is why you dont believe everything you read, even in newspapers.

Posted by: - Posted on: 2009-03-13 14:55:31

What?! My opinion of the media is getting lower and lower.. And anyway, therell always be positive and negative views.. There isnt any perfect movie..Personally, I will try to enjoy the film as much as possible, really like it (I hope) and then afterwards start to really get annoyed at what they changed :P

Posted by: - Posted on: 2009-03-13 15:33:28

The sun is a newspaper :) I sent in about the fans not being happy after a second screening .. it was on yahoo :/ I just want to see the film .. NOW:)

Posted by: - Posted on: 2009-03-13 15:34:38

YEAH! This is EXACTLY what i was talking about! The Sun is like the Evil Rita Skeeter and the Daily Prophet, screw them! Theyre just trying to put HP down because Twilight is pretty big now, they think that HArry Potter is dying away, lol.

Posted by: - Posted on: 2009-03-13 15:49:44

I personally feel the Sun isnt a very reliable source ... reports are more believable from the Guardian or Times ... but from the trailers and such the movie is looking good so far :D ... Cant wait :D ...

Posted by: - Posted on: 2009-03-13 15:57:49

Wait wait wait. Quotes from the screening from Chicago? So they said it wasnt good?

Posted by: - Posted on: 2009-03-13 16:16:08

Did anybody actually take the Suns "reporting" any bit seriously? From the numerous things Ive heard about it, nothing the Sun says can be trusted. Also, I almost never trust peoples reviews from screenings, and I absolutely never trust movie reviews (in newspapers, magazines, on the net, etc...). I always just watch the trailers, read the descriptions, and make a decision to see it or not.

I wonder what bad things people had to say about it? Not very reassuring... whatever I just want to see it too! I mean sometimes when I come away from a HP movie seeing it for the first time, Ill be like, OMG they didnt put that part in! or something. But really, at this point I just want to see it!!! Stupid tabloids (or newspapers) playing on our fears...

Posted by: - Posted on: 2009-03-13 17:55:38

the dun just loves punking ppl...grrrr they suck!!

Posted by: - Posted on: 2009-03-13 18:15:11

I agree with Ravenxl7. Plus, we already knew that there was going to be a lot of romance! We already knew that most of the memories have been cut! Its just tabloids jumping on whatever story they think will gain attention. My local tabloid, the Herald Sun, reported on the Suns report. I would never trust the Herald Sun with the truth- a couple of months ago, they that the HBP potion book lead to information about Voldemorts past, and that Harry would fall in love with Hermione. Dont believe everything you read.

Wow, what a surprise. people arent alright with the movie. thats only happened, what, like every movie that Warner Brothers has ever made. Get with it people.

liar, liar, pants on fire...

HOPEFULLY half blood prince is better than order of the pheonix. i thought the 5th film sucked and unfortunately david yates is back to direct the last movie. he better do a better job.

First fo all we have already heard several times already that this movie is going to be more lighthearted and have more romance in it than the previous movies so why would those "supposed" viewers even be surprised? To me it looks like it is going to be good and other than Deathly Hallows, it was my favorite book because it was so funny and Harry was especially funny in it.
