UPDATE: Confirmed by Warner Brothers: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince has been moved two days forward to July 15th.
You may all remember that they did this same thing with Order of the Phoenix in 2007, so it may not come as a surprise.

yeah i agree with you iwantorlando05 ... i NEVER liked Transformers, it was tOO cliche... The chic is the HOTTEST of all.. and the Black Guys are laughing jacks who lives with their moms. I found that really offensive. And the joke about masturbation was HIGHLY inappropriate, knowing that plenty of kids would be watching that.. they dont even mention that stuff in HP! Anyway, i think Terminator will be LOADS better than Transformers. but of course HBP will own all. Now Transformers made the Highest box-office for a NON-sequel movie, beating Sorcerers Stone, and we all know SS is still the highest box-office movie of HP, with OOTP coming in 2nd, so I think WB should give another shot at the 5 day opening, which will be more MASSIVE :)

this week I saw knowing and Marley and me (i cried at the end) and they both had HP trailers, and neither had TF2 ones, and TF2 has hardly any publicity at all, and Mike bay isnt that good a director either.

Yeah me too iwantorlando05 ... i just had a problem with it, cuz not one but TWO black characters had their moms around them, as if they cant think for themselves. Plus they were just boisterous and not really funny. Its kinda funny too that the white movie critics took it more offensively than the black critics, lol. But anyway, i just watched the trailer and what was that??? It was just BANG! CRASH! KABOOM! ARRGH! REVENGE... "SHIA I LOVE YOU DONT DIE!" NOOO! lol thats basically the trailer.

However, to those of us who have to work 40 hours a week and take a vacation day so we can see the midnight showing, its not such a good thing. WB keeps ruining my plans. When OOTP came out, i had a training that was scheduled for the Wed before. So I was excited that I could go to the midnight showing with my husband and sister and brother. Instead, I got a nasty surprise when they decided to move it to the Wed. before. I was stuck in Seattle all by myself while all my friends went without me. WB KNOWS they are going to push it back, why dont they just tell us that from the beginning. Although I did think they might do this, so I am still taking my Friday off and STILL going to the Midnight showing. I can work 8 hours on 4 hours of sleep. Thanks WB!!!

So, to reconcile that little thing about postponing it 7 months..... were moving it up TWO DAYS!!! Fail, WB. Fail. This sounds exciting at first glance, but really its just going to screw up Azkatraz COMPLETELY (way to care about your fans...?) and its going to mean that instead of going to a midnight premiere and struggling through friday so we can catch up on sleep over the weekend, instead were going to be sleep deprived all week. Its just a marketing ploy to have a bigger "box office opening weekend" -- but its like, dude, you cant just extend the weekend to TUESDAY! what the heck?
