A new interview with Daniel Radcliffe and producer David Heyman has been publised in Empire Magazine.
Dan talks about how refreshing Deathly Hallows part one is because it's always set in different places, and not just at Hogwarts. He also said, "I think for me, what's intimidating is going to be the walk at the end to meet Voldemort in the forest. That's going to be really tough, but I can't wait."
Heyman added what will probably be a relief for fans who want the films to be completely true to the books, "I think there'll be less edited from this film than films past because we have the freedom of making two films and I think it's going to be fantastic."

Hopefully they blow us away with this film. I most certainly hope so. This is their LAST chance to get it right. Two 2 1/2 hour films would be enough time, so lets hope thats what theyre shooting for.

Great news! I agree, the almost constant change in scenery will probably be "refreshing". Im also really happy that the movie will be completely faithful to the book because with the other movies, the first time i watch them at the cinema im always kind of distracted by thinking about scenes theyve changed or left out. ;D

Its very good and relieving that not very much will be edited from the movie, in the previos movies a lot has been edited even the story has been changed, so THEY FINALLY HAVE A CHANCE TO GET IT ALL RIGHT IN THE END.
Two movies hopefully will do justice to the spirit of the book

I agree. Having the freedom to make two films will defiantly give them a bigger arena. Im waiting to be pleasantly surprised.
{Now give us Half Blood Prince already geez}

HEYMAN,ILL MARK YOUR WORDS! Just tell your screenwriter Steve Kloves to not giving Rons lines to Hermione and to stop making up on Rons character as a dumb, stupid, and idiot instead of his bravery and loyalty to his friend.Thats hurt me the most!

You know how the trailers all tended to have a character, usually Dumbledore, speak one lineatthe end? How about this for the trailer for Part one and/or two: Dan, as Harry, speaking the line "I am about to die." That was one of the best cliff hanging lines in the book.

I cant wait! At least itll end true to the story! I hope these films are the best of all of them! Gonna be soo sad for it to end!! :(

Did anyone else notice Empires error on Dan & David 4?
"...Harry, Ron and Hermione huddle in the face of Voldemorts terrors in The Prisoner Of Azkaban". Voldemort isnt even in the 3rd book! I know Im being picky, I was just wondering if I was the only one who saw it...

txRABbit: i like that idea! I wonder where theyll make the split between the two films? Ive heard itll be when Ron leaves, but I dunno if thats a definite. Theyve said the part that theyve chosen is perfect... Reckon Rons departures the perfect cliffhanger????

pippinandthewimbles.....y es....i noticed that too. and Dobby_09, i too get distracted looking for certain scenes. (from the trailers) i was very disappointed the first time i saw POA but then after the 3rd or 4th time i liked it. i am soo excited to hear that they are staying TRUE TO THE BOOK!!! i know every minute detail wont be there, but im hoping for about 90%!!!! Whenever i read the books, i always flash a movie in my head. Always wondering how something may have looked in the movie. And did i miss something or did they move DH part 2 from May to July? i thought it was May 2011.

Cant see them splitting at Ron leaving as that isnt very far into the book . Unless the have a shorter forst half and a longer second half so the audience can get into the movie before the battle , not only an hour and a bit ? Just thinking aloud out here

I dont know what Mr. Poe is talking about Dan is sexy!! Im thinking they did this photoshoot around the time Dan was still doing Equus which is why hes got so much chest hair going on. lol. But I still think he looks good in both pictures! I think Rupert decided to wear his own shoes...so awesome!

I totally agree with chloe_fun!
And theyre going to have a lot of work cut out for them - not only are they going to have to include most of whats in the 7th book in order for it to make sense, theyre also going to have to include 6 books worth of back story that they cut out thats necessary for the finale to make sense and be true to the spirit and style of the whole series.
Theyve dug themselves a huge hole. But thats what happens when you hire a hack screenwriter who doesnt care at all for character consistency (and thus character motivation) or brilliant plot nuances.
