If anyone ever remembers that Jo said she started the idea for the story when she was in her teens. Now subtract her age (41) from what Harry is (26) and the answer is 15. If she came up with the idea at the age of 15 then technically Harry is 26 even though he is 17 when the book comes out. If you put some common sense to it, it isnt difficult to figure out.

To all the people who dont understand how Harry is 26: In CoS, it was Nearly Headless Nicks 500th Deathday. His cake said he died October 31, 1492. So CoS takes place in 1992. At this time Harry is 12, so he was born in 1980. 2006 minus 1980 is 26, and that is Harrys current age.

(Please dont start a huge argument, this is my opinion): The HP series beats Narnia and similar books by far. Yeay! hoooray! I think that its very apropriate that I should have internet access for the frist time in 5 weeks on Jos Bday:) Ive come back from my Russian camp world wind adventure and am ready to rejoin the fan world i love:) Now I get to see what has happened over the month that Ive been gone. Any thing could have happend! The name of the 7th book could have been revealed and I could have no idea. (Whait, that hasnt happened has it?)
