First! Well, that's good news. But we'll have the video game before the movie AGAIN, which will ruin it more.

Posted by AndrewW May 14th 2009

I will be getting this...after I see the movie of course. I agree that it will ruin it.

Posted by Ishi May 14th 2009

I won't play it until I see the movie! :)

Bow_to_death...how can a the harry potter video game ruins the movie if you already now whats gonna happen from reading the book? theres no difference.

Posted by Ravenxl7 May 14th 2009

Cool, though I'll probably wait till later this year to get it. I don't think playing the game before watching the movie would completely ruin it, but it would show you how certain things will look in the movie, and the differences between the book and movie a bit more. There's definitely a difference between reading something, and seeing that something happen. Anywhoo...I'm looking forward to the mixing potions part. That should be fun, though I can see how some would find it boring. I'm probably one of few people that found the ability to play chess an nice addition to the OotP game :)

This is kick ass. I cant wait. I prefer the game play a whole lot more in the first couple of HP games, but the blue prints for Hogwarts they used in game 5 is just amazingggg. I cant wait to se this one. But, after I see the film. x

Yayy! I'm pumped, I love doing all that random stuff in the games! It sounds like the best so far. And the only game I have for PS3 is guitar hero.

Posted by insertsobriquet May 14th 2009

I haven't bought any of the video games yet, but I think I might get all 6! The graphics keep getting better and better! That actually looks like Harry and Ron...it's kind of creepy!

Posted by clking222 May 14th 2009

Thats really cool about the game. Am going to get before the moive becaouse the game is not like the moives to me at all.

Posted by hooked_on_Harry May 14th 2009

I know i'll be in line to get this for psp. but of course i won't play it til after i've seen the movie! *wink-wink* I'm actually still working on GOF & OotP. I should finish those first huh?

Posted by insertsobriquet May 14th 2009

It's soo creepy how much that looks like DAN! WOW!

Posted by Adeline May 14th 2009

oh wow hooked_on_Harry, I'd be scared if I were you to be reading comments and news posts on Mugglenet lol, because there would be so much that would get spoiled since you haven't finished reading the books! :( Oh but as for the video game... I'm hoping it will be like OoTP, that was a good one. Lots of content and puzzles, very interesting. Oh, and I agree with you Ravenxl7, I found the chess and rearranging portraits and cleaning floors very interesting...... haha, maybe we're weird but I love that type of stuff.

I really hope this game will be better than the GoF and OotP ones. GoF was just bad. I didn't like the setup. And OotP had good graphics and you could do cool random things, but... It wasn't hard at all. Not like the first three where you actually had to work and figure things out to get a new spell. In OotP they just... Told you the spell and how to do it. And half the game was finding the D.A. members. :P

Posted by peanutgang4 May 14th 2009

lol i agree witch_lady... half the time u have 2 track down the other members. the graphics were cooler tho. they keep getting better

Posted by hpintwense06 May 14th 2009

Sounds cool.

Posted by pottermania13 May 15th 2009

Hey, what about gamecube? They aren't releasing it for that?! NOT FAIR!!!!

Posted by javan_weasley May 15th 2009

sweet i love the potter video games but i won't play it until ive seen the movie, opening night oh yeah. if there is anybody in the Canada or especially the toronto area please say so most mugglenet goers seem to be from the US or the UK not that theres anything wrong with that but i wanted to see who there was.

Posted by hooked_on_Harry May 15th 2009

adeline--obviously i wasn't clear on my comment. we were, after all, talking about the video games. I certainly meant that i hadn't finished playing the VIDEO games of GOF & OotP. I have certainly read ALL the books and have seen all the videos to date. I have read HBP & DH each in 2 days! I AM up-to-date!!!!! >:-p

Posted by krazykobra29 May 16th 2009

i still need to finish Poa! lol thats sad

Posted by GaroPotter May 17th 2009

the 5th one for the wii was amazing i hope this is also a free roam with no loading screens

Posted by DaphyGreengrass May 18th 2009

Release on my birthday? Excellent. Let's hope that they stick to the storyline a little more this time.

Posted by Hermionelover May 18th 2009

Yeah... I am totally with DaphyGreengrass on this one. The last one was sorta off frrom the book... But hopefully this one can get back to the REAL storyline. But I will totally get this game. Sounds really fun, but it probaly will give some of the movie away. Althought, how much is left in the movie that hasn't been shown on the trailer???
