Harry Potter park construction update
Harry Potter park construction update As construction continues for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park, we have new photos of the progress. The pictures were taken from different areas of Islands of Adventure, as well as an "off-site construction area about five miles north of Universal Orlando where work on snow-covered spires and rooftops is underway." Enjoy!

Thanks to Brian for letting us know!

this is sad that I posted the first comment 20 minutes ago and still no one else has commented (sorry if someone did while I was writing this) I miss pre-DH! anyway, I'm just gonna comment again to make up for it... so does anyone know what rides are at Hogwarts? 'Cos all the polls on the website are always about Hogsmeade. What atractions are there about Hogwarts?

this makes me more excited to go there when it opens!!!! =]

I wish it wasn't snow covered all of the time. That distracts from the park when it is 100 degrees outside.

That's pretty cool. I really would like to go and check it out when it's complete! :]

well "i_am_hermione", the ride inside hogwarts is said to be the "dark" ride of the park (as rumored). It has been said that it probably will be a robocoaster perhaps even similar to the spider-man ride (Maybe a ride through the chamber of secrets). And btw there HAVE been polls that could very well influence hogwarts, the latest one for example... The result of what creature people fear the most can affect what magical beasts we may see in or around hogwarts.

yay!!! how exciting!

Yeah i went to islands and took a pic of the huge crack opening in Hogwarts.. I'm quite sure it wont be anything like a Spiderman ride, but more like the mummy ride (in universal).. When i looked in the crack opening I am pretty sure that i saw a coaster railing.. i I'm thinking it might feature a tour of Hogwarts that turns sour and next thing you know you find yourself in the middle of a wizard battle at Hogwarts and all the good and bad will be there (much like the battle of Hogwarts) including the Dementors!

The more posts I see the more I get excited! I really hope they keep on track with this and it is truly open by early 2010 since my fiancee and I plan on going to Orlando for our honeymoon next summer and we really want this to be open then. Highlight of the trip!

Everybody finished the song at different times. At last, only the Weasley twins were left singing along to a very slow funeral march.
