We've learned that the casting agency representing actor Simon McBurney lists him as having the role of Kreacher in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
Presumably he will just be lending his voice for the character. McBurney has also starred in such films as The Golden Compass and The Duchess.

Hardly talked in OOtP so couldve been anyone, having a bigger role in this one they had to pick a person more extensivly and detailed who they thought could do the job. Odd, you cant say for this casting he looks exactly as I imagined him lol :P

Interesting. Not all that surprising that they went with someone different, instead of bringing Timothy Bateson back for the role. Itll be interesting to see how much of Kreachers scenes they keep from the book. Its good to know hell make the cut. I just hope they dont change his, or Dobbies, CGI too much.

Well, that sucks that its not the same guy from OOTP....well, I just hope he does a good Kreacher....by the way, a random question...was the same guy that played Fudge in COS come back for POA, GOF, and OOTP?? Thanks!

Robert Hardy has played Fudge in all the films you see him in : ) I hope he makes an appearance in HBP too

WICKED!! I was just watching a movie called "Friends with Money" and Simon and Jason Isaccs are both in it!! What a small world that hes now cast in a Harry Potter film! Ive seen him in practically ALL his movies and hes a brilliant actor, but he also usually plays soft spoken, nice guys so well see how he does with Kreacher. lol.

GUYS! Its like the same with Griphook. Griphook is being played by Warwick Davis, the same person who plays Flitwick. The Griphook who was in #1 was Mini-me from Austin Powers. Instead, Mini-me is STILL gonna be in Deathly Hallows, as he is the motion-capture for Dobby. Wierd, eh? But its true. I have faith in him. Think of The Simpsons people... I mean, Nancy Cartwright! Hehe =D

Timothy Bateson, who voiced Kreacher in OOTP, is 83. Perhaps this is a factor!
