OMG shes nothin at all like i imagined her to be (even though the character in my head was kinda blurry)! but shes cool lol..i never really imagined long purple hair like this..but oh well. well, she is a metamorphmagus so i guess this look isnt gonna b fixed!!!

She is not what I imagined at all! I thought she wore boyish clothes like baggy pants and dull shirts. I was also really looking forward to the short bubblegum pink hair. I think it will be a very difficult transformation from this sexy version of Tonks to mouse-colored hair version in the sixth film.

She may change throughout the movie though you guys, seriously. She is a metamorphagus*sp?* And she will probably have lots of hair styles! :) No worries.

Hmmm not at all like i excepted. Im not sure what to think I excepted someone much younger I guess with short hair and very boyish cute outfit. Maybe she wont look exactly like that in the movie though, who knows? I think we need to have a discussion with everyone from all over the world and and have like internet chats with a ton of people in it and discuss book 7!!! Anybody else think thats a good idea?

I don't really like it, I always pictured Tonks the way she was drawn, she looks too serious and Tonk is suppose to be very clumsy and Happy-go-lucky, very X-Men, and ya, in the scene where she was packing Harry's trunk she switches to pink

Um...what's the big deal with people focusing on her hair. That's how she looks when we first meet her. She changes it to the short, pink style when she's in Harry's room. Get over it. All in all, good choice for Tonks...in my opinion.

I'm terribly upset by this photo of Tonks. She looks like a grunge-punk girl, not silly and clumsy like she's described in the book. Also, and I know everyone has said this many times, but why doesn't she have short hair? I understand that her looks will change, but never in the book did she have long purple hair.... I don't like it, not at all.

Not quite how I had her pictured, but I kinda like her look. I think what we are all forgetting (at least I did) is that Tonks is supposed to be really young. And AvadaKedavra777, the books also said that Sirius has a growl to his voice but oh no! He doesn't! And nowhere in the books does it say that Fred and George have long hair...and in the movie...they do!! :O! RELAX! Take a few deep breaths and calm down! It will be OK!

Well, it was bubblegum pink ... and short ... in canon ... but I still like it -- that's a great shade of purple.

let us remember that the movies are now in a different.. "reality" i guess we could call it, their so far from the books does it REALLY matter what color and length someone's hair is.. does it REALLY effect the story line? no, does it make it impossible to watch? no. ur just being fan boys/girls really its hair.

It's not what I recall seeing in my head, but at when you remember film to be a whole other medium, she exceeds my previous expectation. huh interesting! I imagined Tonk's hair to be short, spikey, shiny and slick most of the time. Not exactly what I had in mind but good enough! I know she can change her appearence but I thought her main look would be short, and sleek. I'm excited to see her other appearences :)

She looks a little more punkish than I imagined--I imagined her with short pink/purple hair (depending on when she changed it) and just wearing regular witch robes, with a spunky, yet kind disposition. This Tonks could potentially fit in on Knockturn Alley. But hopefully she'll act like Tonks!

Oh My God - this is so totally coooool! Awesome - she looks brilliant, just exactly what needed! She's beautiful and it looks good and her hair (I'm sure there will be lots of different hairstyles throughout the film though) is most suitable - at least in the concept of making her pretty. I like her :)

Wow, for a far away, grainy picture, she looks amazing! I have a feeling that this is from the begining of the movie. It would totally make since for her to have the long, purple hair and all black ensemble if she, like the rest of the Advanced Guard, were supposed to stay low profile. I'm more than certain that when she's in her everyday wear, she'll be in more colorful fare. I can't wait for more pics to come out soon.

I think she's wonderful - not as how I pictured her, but nevertheless, I feel she is a good pick for the role. Also, does Tonks not have the ability to change how she looks? We have only seen her for this one scene, in ONE photograph. It is likely that her looks will change throughout the film, so I feel we should not be so quick to judge.
