forgive me all of you who love the way she looks but i don't find her attractive at all. i guess you can't really judge from this pic but i think all of you who say she's pretty are just wishfully thinking.

I know that you can't see her face all that well, but I think she looks good. Not how I imagined her, but she looks cool nevertheless.

I saw Tena in Mrs. Henderson Presents and I like her very much. As far as Tonks's overall appearance goes, it's in the spirt of the character, so I'm happy; purplehair!Tonks won't ruin the movie for me. :-) The only complaint I have is that her hair looks more like a bad '80s wig than actual hair, but it's important to note that the pic is just a candid snapshot. It will probably look better on screen.

She looks older and kinda of ragged but I see the reseblence of Tonks. She is not bad but anyway I am sure it will be better in context.

Well, she really isn't how I'd pictured her, but assuming she changes her looks occasionally throughout the movie so that the concept is canon even if the actual "looks" aren't exactly, I can live with it. I mean, we accepted Hermione in a pink dress rather than periwinkle robes for the Yule Ball, Aunt Petunia as a brunette rather than a blonde, and Harry with gorgeous blue/grey eyes rather than brilliant emerald eyes, right?

Anyone who's seen her in anything else, particularly 'About A Boy', knows that she's 100% right for the role. Something else struck me - maybe they want her to look like Bellatrix and Sirius, or at least let us know that they're related. She could definitely pass as Helena Bonham Carter's niece.

I think she looks great for the role! How young was everyone expecting her to be anyway- this actress is only like 22 or something- hardly old! I can't wait to see all of her looks in the film.

some of you mentioned that she is too old, but remember she falls for "someone" that looks older so it would be odd of she was too young looking.

She's Pretty!!!! i love it!!!! i love her hair and although i imagined short, it still very well done!!! Pretty good... she's gorgeous and i think that Remus Deserves someone that beautiful!!!! i love it!!!! The only thing that sort of bugs me is the fact that her hair isn't short but that's a minor technicality... it's ok... no big deal!!!! i really do love it.

OMG!!!!! I absolutly LOVE her!! She is just how I pictured Tonks. And even though her hair isn't pink and it's long, Purple suits TONKS well too!! And besides, perhaps this isn't the only way her hair will be throughout the movie... she is fantastic!! she has my Approval!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She's so funny as Ellie in About A Boy! I think she's gonna e awesome as Tonks. And she looks good. Not what we know from the pictures but still good, at first we all thought she was a boy remember (in the picture of OOTP)? Anyways YAY!

Great, Tonks looks totally awesome, though I did like the short, spiky, bubble gum pink hair better. I just hope the actress can really play the part. *^*Tonks and Lupin Forever*^*

And, while her hair was spikey, when harry first meets her, her hair is "a violent shade of violet." Last I knew, violet is a shade of purple. sheesh, give it a rest already, one picture of her and you're all freaking out.

it was the exact shade that i thought it would be...a little long, yes, but she looks EXACTLY as i imagined her otherwise. wow...

I'm quite sure her hair will be pink at some point in the movie, because that is what it's described as at first... But she changes her looks constantly. I'm quite sure her hair was violet at one point. And I doubt she keeps it short all the time either... Don't worry - they'll get it right at one point, I hope.

Good job to everyone else who remembered (I didn't read all the comments), but Tonks' hair WAS purple in the beginning of the book. "Oooh, he looks just like I thought he would," said the witch who was holding her lit wand aloft. She looked the youngest there; she had a pale heart-shaped face, dark twinkling eyes, and short spiky hair that was a violent shade of violet. 'Wotcher, Harry!'" Then Tonks and Harry go up to his room, Tonks says purple's not her color, and changes it to pink.

But it's not perfect though ,, I figured her hair more shorter and BUBBLEGUMPINK !! wellwell .. :D:D:D yea, it's only one picture ... anyway, I have seen her in other films, and her face is PERFECT. Gosh! That's not what I pictured Tonks to look like at all! I always thought she would look like Madame Hooch from the Harry Potter And The Sorcerer's Stone movie, but with colored hair. I mean doesn't it say in OOTP (American Edition) Pg. 47 in the middle of the page:

Well, I kind of always imagined Tonks with SHORT hair...but long hair does not look that bad really for Tonks. I was so, so...HAPPY when I found out Mugglenet had a picture of Tonks to show all the HP fans! Well, not I can't wait to see her in the movie. :)
