I think she looks awesome.... not the way I pictured her but I think she matches the looks like in the book... and the colour of the hair and length dont matter because alot of the characters in the movies dont look exactly how they are described in the book .... I cant wait to see how she acts in this role.... I hope she does well!!!!!!!!

Oh! She's the perfect Tonks. Her hair is not always short, spikey and bubblegum pink - READ THE BOOKS PROPERLY - It was even waist-length at one point and it was definitely not always bubblegum pink. She looks playful and bubbly but dependable and kind all at the same time. Let's assume the pic was taken on the Privet Drive location: First, that might be Tonks' appearance before she visits Harry's bedroom and morphs for the first time. Does JoRo articulate the look of her hair beforehand? Second, she's supposed to be a 22-year-old Auror! Don't you think she might dress kind of funky? You know, flying in the face of the establishment and all that? Third, Tonks is sort of the antithesis of Hermione, and the filmmakers are going to dress her so. Jeez, I can't wait until the first Luna-in-costume picture makes the rounds -- that'll be a real galestorm! ;-)

I dont think she is a good choice for the role.She doesnt look like what she was supposed to look like but whatever.We wont really know untill the movie or trailers come out.Personally in thinking about not seein this movie.So far it looks like it will be as dissapointing as Goblet of Fire was,but I really hope not.

Actually, the first time we meet Tonks, her hair is violet, short and spikey. She's so lucky in that she can change her hair length and colour at will. Most of us have to wait months and years to grow it long and have to wait at least 4 weeks to change its colour (and very few of us dare experiment with such shocking colours). Personally I wasn't too keen on her bubblegum pink hair. Also she did wear her hair long sometimes. People are complaining that she doesn't look like what they imagined her to be. Well, we ALL have different ideas of what every character looks like but HOW ON EARTH CAN THEY FIND AN ACTOR/ACTRESS WHICH WOULD SATISFY ALL OUR IMAGINATIONS! I really wish people would be reasonable once in a while.

Bummer, that's nothing like I had pictured . At all. Her hair was supposed to be more of a lavendar, and way shorter. And her face isn't as childlike and lifelike as I imagined. But whatever. *sighs*

I'm not concerned about her appearance in only one picture since Tonks changes how she looks all the time. I just hope they make sure she acts like Tonks: clumsy, happy, young and not very serious.

Kind of not what I imagined from the books, but I still love how she looks. Remember, this is only a first picture nand not every chracter looks like they should according to the books (Emma's blonde hair or Dan's blue eyes, anyone?). I think she looks really good for the part of Tonks (I love the outfit), and hopfully she'll play the character well. When I see the film and see how she acts, then I'll pass judgement. Because honestly, it doesn't matter if she looks 100% like how people imagined her, if she doesn't act like Tonks, it's pointless.
