BBC Radio 5 interviewed Jason Isaacs recently and discussed Deathly Hallow filming. Isaacs confirmed that he has completed filming the Malfoy Manor scenes and will return next month to shoot some scenes with Voldemort--the Battle of Hogwarts possibly? He could not confirm the split point in Deathly Hallows, but you might recall that our MuggleNet sleuths uncovered that Josh Herdman revealed the split point to be before Malfoy Manor. There are two movies because Deathly Hallows is a big book. To have to condense it to one movie would mean that a lot of stuff would have to be left out. This way, more of the book can be included into each film, and of course, more money can be made from two movies and their merchandising this way.

Im very happy tht theyve reached so far.... but feeling sad too tht Harry Potter series will end in cuming 2years..... i wish it could go till the end of my life....bt its with us by memories n books... the split should b from Malfoy Manor becuz thats a turning point for all not only for people who read the book but for those too who havent done that yet..... Im eagerly waiting for the movies...... Thnks to mugglenet for the news n to Jason Isaacs too...

Good to hear that Jason did like the positin Malfoy is at in book 7. I was a bit afraid he only liked Malfoy for eating his heart out being a bad guy. Also his comment on movie 6 and difference with book 6 is very true, his message is sort of: empty yre head of the book and watch the movie for what it offers.... and it offers a good movie. And when your cannot get rid of the book before entering the cinema its your loss.

Seeing as they have already filmed Malfoy Manor and Shell Cottage, me thinks they do not know for sure where the split will be, so they are giving themselves lots of choices.

HELL YES Im willing to wait...after all after HBP the movies will be coming back to back every year... i want Deathly Hallows to be the BEST EVER of the series... Not sooooooooooooo faithful to the book that it LOSES its Cinematography and character development like the first 2 movies, and Not too Choppy and Convuluted that it doesnt tell the story and plot Right like POA

Awesome! That means theyve filmed the torture scene with Hermione and beginning scene with Voldemort and the death eaters. So cool!! I cant wait to see this movie!! Im assuming hes going to film the scene in the Shrieking Shack next month!! :D

Malfoy Manor was a great scene in the book. i hope they do it well in the movie it will be exciting! 445 more days till part 1 and 683 more days till part 2
