They just put the posters on the dvd cover. But I still like them. I cant wait to buy it and they better have TONS of special features!

I approve of the blu-ray cover! Its just too bad Im going to skip out on these because now that WB is rereleasing 1-5 with extended editions, I dont want to get HBP now...and then later again.

I dont particularly care for the cases that have JUST Harry on them. I dont know why. Maybe because its like Harry, Ron, and Hermione are kind of a package deal and I just feel like the movie posters and cases should have the three of them on there. Besides, Ron and Hermione are just as important as Harry (in my opinion). Other than that, they look pretty good!

I SERIOUSLY hope these are fake, cause they SUCK BAD. This cover makes the X-Men Origins: Wolverine look good.

The dvd cover looks alot better, better then that one we say a few weeks ago, does look so blank anymore, the background is different from the poster and the other picture, and their closer together. I like it... like the poster.

Oooo cool!! : )

Yeah, the DVD covers pretty good, but the blu-rays terrible and thats the one Ill get. I also prefer the tilted blue logo. The brown logo is too similar to the OotP logo. And the straight, formal logo doesnt go with the images that are now in your head which youve gotten from the posters. And, the problem with that poster is that its too bright. They shouldve use the Dumbledore-Harry on the rock poster. The blu-ray art is boring. I dont care about the 12-disc set, I already have the other films. Oh, and about Extended Edtions... do we really need them? I have never found any use for the deleted scenes in the 1st place. I havent even see the ones from OotP. I also find them to mess up the film because... well... THEYRE NOT MEANT TO BE THERE. THATS THE WHOLE POINT.

Thats pretty cool.

A bit strange no release date for the states yet. Ive just received a message from amazon.fr concerning my pre-order and it will be released a week earlier that is 19 november. I reckon it should come out around the same date for you.

Has anyone heard about the HBP Blu-Ray set that will fit in the previous (Years 1-5) boxed set that was designed in a Hogwarts trunk? Each movie was styled to look like a textbook at Hogwarts. Will they be releasing Movies 6 and 7/7.5 in those formats, too?? I hope so, or else I wasted a lot of money. :(

i dont really care what the cover looks like!!!!! I dont watch the cover, I watch the movie!!!!!!!! Hopefully they have deleted scenes and some bloopers!!!

Posted by: - Posted on: 2009-09-04 18:21:16

I like the blu-ray one actually. the dvd one kinda looks just like every other movie.

Posted by: - Posted on: 2009-09-04 21:17:20

I dont want to buy a boxed set with three quarters of the movies... I want them all together. Its not worth it now. And Im also not buying it that this is really the cover art. those are posters. still-- hoping for a Christmastime release of the DVD!

it will be really funny if the DVD was never released in the US PMSL

I have like 3 copies of OOTP and I really need new copies of SS and COS. By the time WB releases the Ultimate Collectors Edition of movies 1-8...Im going to have like 5 copies of each movie. But whatever...I can dig it. I love HP!

Posted by: - Posted on: 2009-09-05 15:49:22

i wonder when do they come out?

Posted by: - Posted on: 2009-09-05 18:00:38

Oh my gosh. UGLY. I hate how there is always only Harry, or Harry and Dumbledore, and Ron and Hermione. I mean, the whole point is that Harry is not alone, he doesnt have to go at it alone, and plus it just makes for a really boooooorrrrriiiiinnnnnggg g DVD cover...

Posted by: - Posted on: 2009-09-06 14:50:51

I love that DVD cover, I hope they use that one for Canada. Does anyone know the release date? All I know is that it will be out before Christmas.

On the bottom of the covers it says "artwork subject to change." That sort of makes the current covers invalid or something...

Posted by: - Posted on: 2009-09-06 15:24:18

Um, havent any of you guys heard of Photoshop? Ive seen some pretty good fake DVD covers come out of that program, but these are only too obvious. And Im talkign to the posters, not the site.
