On Saturday, we first told you that Draco Malfoy actor Tom Felton would be in Orlando for a Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park press event on Tuesday, September 15th. The actor has now confirmed this news on his official Twitter account and talks about what he plans on doing: just confirmed i'm going to see the wizarding world of harry potter at universal on tuesday! i'll let u know how its coming along... gonna go on other rides to..cant go to the simpsons ride tho...have to admit it made me feel slightly worse for wear after i went on it! MuggleNet will be at this press event and will provide full coverage.

Anyone know when it actually opens? Im going to Orlando in March, bet I wont be lucky enough to actually enjoy it.

The last I heard it was scheduled to open sometime in July of of next year, but if the information Im hearing about Infinitus 2010 is correct, it would probably need to be before then, unless thats being held during grand opening week or something.

Thats so cool! I wish I could go! Hopefully Tom will tweet A LOT about how the park is coming along. I live pretty close to Florida, but even if I didnt...I would still be there on Opening day. Its going to be so much fun!!

lol hell probably kick people off of rides, such as Dueling Dragons, like he did when I was waiting in line to get on ICE.

I would love to come and meet tom and all and Im not that far so i could be there in about 1 day. the only problem is that I have school. Did it occur to them that if they put it on a school holiday, they would have gotten so many more people to come?? I wish they had a convention in Dallas or Austin. Texas would b better. (Its a big state so bigger publicity and all). Come to Texas plz!!!
