As we reported yesterday, Potter actors Matthew Lewis and Evanna Lynch were atop Millennium Bridge on Thursday to kick off a new promotion for the Half-Blood Prince DVD. While there, they spoke to The Daily Record and revealed that they'll be busy filming many scenes for Deathly Hallows soon. Evanna again emphasized that a big portion of Deathly Hallows Part 2 will be dedicated to the Battle of Hogwarts, and the movie as a whole follows very closely with the book.

SO COOL!! I love that theyre going to be focusing a lot on the battle. I wonder what scenes theyre going to be filming? Maybe the Ravenclaw Common Room scene or maybe they will show Ginny, Neville, and Luna trying to steal the sword...Im trying to think of scenes that wont include Emma Watson since shes obviously at school. I cant wait to see DEATHLY HALLOWS!! Its going to be AMAZING!

Superb ... I want alot of the battle, and the Voldemort vs Harry Part in the end. Second :P

thats suchhhh a comfort, truly. i was so worried that it would, unfortunately, be like one or two of the previous HP movies (dont get me wrong, as unclose as they may have been i still fell in love with them) & that would have been SUCH a let down as it is the final installment of the harry potter movies.

Yes, very exciting stuff. I am pleased with the news of a large part of part 2 will be the battle of Hogwarts, but still cautious not to expect too much or get my hopes up because you know they still have to edit and piece together the film so we really cant tell yet, and it would be unwise to assume these things with as long as we have left to wait. 411 days until Part 1. 658 days until Part 2.

Im shaking almost at the thought of the actual battle of Hogwarts in thhe movie theater! Im wondering will everyone be in this, including all teachers all DA members and all Death eaters, because I want this to be a HUGE battle not just a series of duels.

Good news! :)

No new news there - Lynch - who is an avid reader of the canon - seemed pretty certain that the books are really going to be followed closely in the last two installments. That matters, coming from her. Anyone found a balloon yet?

I really hope they are closely following the book for DH. Theres no reason not too since they are making 2 films from the book!!!! I also really really hope that in the fight scene they have Mrs Weasly calling Belatrix a girl!! lol

fairy chick i think she calls her a girl actually but yeah the battle better kick arse and i want extensive footage of Dumbledore at kings cross also i think they should put dumbledores funeral in the movie i think they could fit it in given where they left off in the hbp movie i just really want to see it also snapes memory better include every detail from the book and hopefully they dont cut dobby out like they did in gof because the portrayal joe did with his story plays hugely in the books and it pisses me off when the goddamn directors cut stuff when they obviously dont appreciate the books like us true Harry Potter fans i dont know im kind of ranting now but i guess i am just trying to express my feelings about how they totally gut every book i know i wouldnt care if they ran over seven hours anywho Taylor Mcfarland out

Awsomeness.

Well I hope there is a balance between the first part of the 2nd part and the battle. Since they need to do Malfoys Manor, Dobbys death, Shell Cottage, Gringotts, Dragon flying, Falling in the water and swiming back to find out Vlodemort found out about his horcrux/Voldemorts thoughts, Hogsmade with the Dementors and Death Eaters, Hogs Head with the real story of Dumbledores life, walking through the passage with Neville talking about Hogwarts, RoR metting up with the rest of DA, and going to check the statue of Ravenclaw. That all happens before the battle and they better do justice to that.

WeasleyTwin, so around about 2 hours :D I think if they do these 2 films right, it could be THE ultimate HP film Evaa!
