That's super exciting!! Can't wait to get it!! : )

BTW the special features look much more promising than those on the dvd of Order of the Phoenix. Just saying...

Posted by Blazarer Oct 25th 2009

Is there a deathly hallows sneak peak on the normal DVD version?

Posted by LoRdEmiLiuS Oct 25th 2009

awesome! i wish i had a blu-ray player. =( personally, though, i think the heading of this entry is a little misleading. i'm not trying to bash Andrew or anyone at MuggleNet, but when i first read it, i thought it meant the commercial featured new footage from the actual movie. well, maybe it did, and if that's the case, i must have missed it. what do you guys say?

Posted by rooon Oct 25th 2009

I agree with LoRdEmiLiuS...It does sound as if it's reveled in the commercial for the blu-ray disc (the one that's posted). Oh well. Yeah, is there a deathly hallows sneak peak on the normal DVD version?

It makes me wish i could buy a Bluray disk. but unfortunately i don't have a blu-ray player or an HD tv. sucky. i hope they have good features on the normal dvd player as well. =(

Yay! This is a definite Christmas present!

This looks promising. But I won`t buy the Blu-Ray version though. :| I hope most or all of the features in Blu-Ray will come out in the normal version.

I was already excited! But yeah this video just makes the wait til December even worse. I have 3 copies of OOTP because I bought pretty much every version of it and I have a feeling the same thing will happen with HBP. I LOVED that movie so much and I really don't think it will be the same unless it's watched in High Def so I have to buy the Blu-Ray version in addition to the two-disc special edition. I'm just excited to see the movie again. I haven't seen it since August!

awww i dont have blu ray!!!!! %##%%^

Posted by Kelsanator Oct 25th 2009

I really wish I have a blue-ray player! This looks really awesome though! Will the digital copy be on the normal version too?

Posted by PotterYay Oct 25th 2009

Blazerer, The normal 1 disc edition doesn't have the special features. but you can get a 2-disc dvd that does. The 2 disc version also includes a digital copy.

can't wait to buy it. never had a blu-ray player till my brother bought a ps3!! the features look fantastic!

Posted by hooked_on_Harry Oct 25th 2009

YES!! very excited!!! kinda makes me think about getting a blu-ray player!!! lol but i only have a dvd player and next summer will get a new HDTV so i can watch the whole series!! can't wait to watch the final scenes from OotP on a new 47" tv!!!! Then I'll be able to watch HBP too!! 43 days and counting!!!!!! (for the dvd)

Wow. Very well done as a commercial/trailer. WB sure knows how to promote and market these things perfectly. However, when the showed you a comparison of how much better the movie looks on BluRay, I could honestly not see any difference besides the increased brightness in the BluRay version. -shrugs- Maybe there'll be a more noticeable difference on the actual DVD.

You have no idea how excited I am for the 7th movie/s.... And I am so buying the 6th movie when it comes out on DVD!
