I don't think anybody accepted the award. They just sent the damn surfboard over. You forget they're all busy to do any of this stuff.

Posted by flojo020 Aug 21st 2006

Good point.

Posted by michael_xxx10 Aug 21st 2006

i didnt really think that film was as good as it should have been

Posted by AnnoyinglyPotter Aug 21st 2006

YES! TEEN CHOICE AWARDS! "You know what every Star would LOVE to get for their hard work? A SURF BOARD!" Oh could FOX GET any hipper?

Posted by xoxDreamerGirlxox Aug 21st 2006

Seriously? I don't remember watching that during the Teen Choice Awards last night (I thought POTC2 had won it), but I'm sooooo happy!! It definitely deserved it!!

Posted by mai Aug 21st 2006

lol I don't think they announce like 40 of the categories including the one that GOF won. So sad..unless it was when I was flipping through the channels.

Posted by Mrs_Victorkrum Aug 21st 2006

oh... I am going to go read the artical now.

Posted by Animagi92 Aug 21st 2006

sweet! they did deserve the award tho, cheesy and pointless as it may have been!! but i agree with michael_xxx10 that it wasn't as good as it should've been, like they made it kinda hard to follow. but for me, if it has hp in it, i love it!!

Posted by PadfootBaby Aug 21st 2006

Woo! Go GoF!! And on a completely unrelated note... GO PIRATES!!!!!! :) Johnny Depp ROCKS!

Posted by sectumsempra99 Aug 21st 2006

ha ha ...i agree with that padfootbaby! lol...GO GOF! cant wait to OOTP...its gonna be awesome....

Posted by muggl3tt3 Aug 21st 2006

I watched the awards, there were awesome!! Kevin federline sang... (he was kinda bad...) but yeah, go GOF :D They didn't announce that award live, because there are too many awards, and they cant announce them all. I assume this one was announced before hand.

Posted by Little_Nightmare Aug 21st 2006

Posted by ermynee78 Aug 21st 2006

oh yes americans have their priorities straight yay gof :)

Posted by mischiefmanaged128 Aug 21st 2006

It's pretty cool that GoF won, but I deplore the Teen Choice Awards, I tried to watch it for like 10 seconds and with all the screaming and chaos and paper-thin women, I just shut it off.

Posted by iveblueangel05 Aug 21st 2006

I totally voted for GoF for the Teen Choice Awards! Whoo!!!

Posted by gryffingirl99 Aug 21st 2006

OMG!! I watched the award show and didn't see it... Grrr.... But awsome that it won though. ~=)

Posted by Weazleby Aug 21st 2006

GoF definetly deserved it, it was a G-R-E-A-T film. One of my favorites ever (But I've always loved Harry Potter so i'm biased) I think it's great that the movies follow the age of each character and didn't stay as young and childish as the 1st one was (it was a great film at the time though, nothing against it)

Posted by Susan14 Aug 21st 2006

And we all know what a classy, picky award show the Teen Choice Awards is. ;) Lol, no, it's nice to see GoF get mentioned, I just hate that particular award show because it's so cheap.

Posted by potterfan22 Aug 21st 2006

yeah im so glad they one they really earned it. But im also really happy that Pirates of the carribean won stuff but i think some of the actors should have gotten individual rewards too.!!

Posted by DecemberDrops Aug 21st 2006

It's wonderful to know that so many teenagers still love Harry Potter! One said that "when you're a teenager, you're just not caring what happens to the kid with the wand". Well, not everyone can be as lucky as we are, I suppose. You know what's a wonderful drama film? "The Ron Clark Story". It was on the drama channel in the US (TNT), and it's TREMENDOUSLY moving.

great!!!

Good Job GOF it totally deserved it! > This is wayyyyyyy off topic, but I made a petition and would appretiate if some fellow mugglenetters would help support it even if it doesnt involved you! Your signature could change the way people in my area graduate! Where I live, we have to make some massive, waste of time binder and write about all these things that we dont care about. We HAVE to do 80 hours of exercise, 30 hours of volunteer work, hours of work experience (aka we have to get a job to graduate) and we have to do all these assignments aside from our schoolwork. Also, the grade ahead of me doesnt have to do it, the government cancelled it for them. How unfair. Everyone around here is campaigined for it to stop.Even parents. So please, I hope you understand and support it!! Heres the link: http://www.petitiononline.com/5cancel/petition.html

Posted by ayah_braceface Aug 21st 2006

Ilovedanielradcliffe: sure thing, i just signed it

Posted by Ilovedanielradcliffe Aug 21st 2006

Hey thanks so much!!! We all really appreciate it
