On Wednesday we reported Chris Rankin's tweet about filming with 43 principal cast on the set of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
Since then, Tom Felton and Matt Lewis have sent out exciting tweets related to the filming of what we presume is the Battle of Hogwarts:
Tom Felton:
- G morning tweeps. Another big day on set. Very exciting! Playing my g tar waiting to be called to work. Love x
- Had a great day on set. This film will be EPIC! @Mattdavelewis was throwing jokes....I was catching them. He's a complete gent x
Matthew Lewis:
- Well I'm shattered. Working hard this week. Mark Williams and @TomFelton keeping me entertained!
- Ralph Fiennes is cool as. Lovely bloke too. Gave us quite the acting masterclass today. What a performance!
Filming for Deathly Hallows is expected to wrap up in Spring 2010. For more about the film, visit our info section.

Thats cool, I wish I was an actor. They will be completely done in spring...wow o wow. Speaking of spring, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is supposed to open spring 2010 as well. Coincidence? I think not. I hope the cast does something at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, that would be so cool.

I have a feeling that what they filmed yesterday was when Tonks, Lupin, Fred, and 50 other bodies were in the great hall and everyone was in there to rest.

I was at the Boston Harry Potter exhibit today and they were saying that Percys costume used to be there, but they took it away for Battle of Hogwarts filming. BTW - exhibit is amazing, everyone should see

tomriddle, scenes are shot in convenient order, not sequential. For instance, they would knock out many Great Hall scenes in one day instead of do one and simply come back another day to do another because it happens later in the story. Ive done some independent film work myself. It doesnt work quite as people think it does. Mounting a film is such a huge thing. Its not as simple as 1-2-3 we do the scenes in the order they happen in the script. For all we know they havent filmed Aberforths scene yet, for instance, or things even earlier in the story. It all gets edited into order, however, regardless of when everything was filmed.

"What a performance"!!! AAAAAH it is going to be so amazing. Its almost sad that they already filmed this... it is the most crucial part of the books and thinking about how the actors have already acted this out and everything is a bit sad. Glad that it went well though!

If Matt and Ralph were working together, they must at least have filmed Neville beheading Nagini. It seems like that would be where Ralphs "masterclass" came from, perhaps when he gives his speech to the fighters telling them how Harry is dead and a new wizarding order will now commence. I imagine you could learn a lot as an actor from watching him perform that scene. I certainly could.

@ActingDude17, I think you could be right. It was Matts words that made me think of the beheading Nagini scene too. I mean, think about what he said: "Ralph Fiennes is cool as. Lovely bloke too. Gave us quite the acting masterclass today. What a performance!" It HAS to be a scene involving Voldemort and something he either says or does (or both), and since Matt was there too, it seems likely that it could have been the highly anticipated beheading scene. Or it could have even been the final death scene of Voldemort, though somehow Im leaning towards the beheading scene.

Words cannot describe my excitement right now! I cant even imagine the emotions that are going to be flowing through me while watching the last minutes of the last Harry Potter film...very depressing, of course, but also a sense of accomplishment and exhilaration. Wow.
