As the holidays are approaching, ABC Family is bringing back its "Harry Potter" weekend as part of its "25 Days of Christmas" programming. The first four Potter films can be seen from December 4-6. Viewers will be treated to exclusive footage from "Creating the World of Harry Potter," an eight-hour documentary series revealing the filmmaking magic behind all of the films in the series. This content is only available on the new "Harry Potter Ultimate Edition" series on Blu-ray and DVD. In addition, fans will get an advanced look at the "Close Up with the Cast" hosted by Evanna Lynch and also go behind the scenes with the cast and crew to see how the infamous Cave was created and what it took to bring the Inferi to the big screen. Both of these pieces will be featured in their entirety on the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Blu-ray Combo Pack and 2-Disc Special Edition DVD. You can check out all the information on the Half-Blood Prince DVD right here and the Ultimate Edition DVDs for Sorcerer's Stone and Chamber of Secrets right here. All are due out on December 8 here in the United States. Thanks to Jesse for the tip!

AH! why is everything always on cable? At least I can just buy the movie... which will be out before this airs most likely so it wouldnt be much of a "sneak preview"

Why isnt OotP ever on Cable? Its been out for over two years...

Posted by: - Posted on: 2009-11-09 19:21:08

OotP was on cable a few weeks ago, in Canada. Speaking of Canada all the DVDs mentioned in this article are also due to be released on December 8 over here as well. Also being released on December 8 is the new Harry Potter Wizarding World DVD game.

oh you guys dont know what KYLE XY is?? WOW... well, lets just say that it was the BEST Science Fiction show ABC Family has ever produced, before they cancelled it and started making all these chick flicks like the "Secret Life" "Lincoln Heights" "Greek" and all that crap. Go look up Kyle XY on wikipedia or something like that... Im just gonna be patient and get the DVDs.. or better yet watch them on youtube..I with SEVERAL other people have already boycotted from watching ABC Family

I love the cover on the CoS one, I love the Quidditch robes. :) I dont have cable, so I dont think I can see the HP weekend, but I have all the DVDs anyway. Ha ha, Kyle XY, I havent seen that in AGES. Like five years. The only thing I remember is he didnt have a belly button. :)

yeah thats right Gryffindor_Seeker ;).. but it got MORE interesting by the 3rd season.. there was another girl like him named Jessie XX, and Kyle developed supernatural powers because he was a superior clone, and yada yada... the show had a HORRIBLE season finale.. after Kyle knocked one of the British antagonists through the window and was choking him, the villian said "I Am Your Brother".. then the Show was over... WTF?! That was the worst season finale ive ever seen in my life. :( So for that reason im not watching ABC Family again
