A new interview with Jamie Campbell-Bower in Wonderland Magazine has revealed that the actor who plays Grindelwald recently completed a scene with an actor who will play Young Dumbledore for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
While Jamie couldn't remember who it was at the time, the magazine apparently looked into it and names Toby Regbo.

You see, its moments like this when Im really glad they decided to cut the film in two. If it would have been one film, you better bet this whole young Dumbledore and Grindelwald business would have been cut out. I trust Steve Kloves with the source material; hes a huge fan of the books, and Im sure (knowing this is the last one), hes going to want to end the series in a BANG! Tony Regbo looks like a worthy young Dumbledore; hes a good pick. Im really excited for this movie to come out. Its gonna rock!

He does look like a young version of Michael Gambon, especially in this photo on the imdb http://www.imdb.com/media /rm228952064/nm2269396 . But I think if Richard Harris was still playing Dumbledore, Jamie wouldve been Dumbledore, and Toby wouldve played Grindelwald.

Thats the thing that gets me... Jamie said that they were lovers... The book never actually said they were together. And the whole Dumbledore having feelings for Grindelwald was revealed in an interview... Not that I really care, but Im wondering what angle WB is going to take this...

in spite of being at the age Dumbledore was at that period this kid looks far too young. We can deduce Dumbledore as being 18 - just left Hogwarts and Regbo is born in 1991, so it would fit. Nevertheless he doesnt look elder then a cute 14 year old. Curious how it will match with JCB.
@hogwarts_is_my_h ome : dont expect too much of the gay status of either Dumbledore or Grindlewald other then gay as merry. JKR did not mention Grindy in the intervieuw and in the book it was not prominent at all. Warner is about the last compagny to emphasise something that was nothing more then an after publication footnote.

I think he could work well. This certainly could be interesting, because I, like Harry, finds it weird to look at a young Dumbledore because it seems as he sprung into being like we know him best!

This oddly makes me even MORE exciting for the DH films!!! But yeah, although i agree that this kid and the other kid are both very pretty, I really dont think were going to get much "action" in terms of their relationship (looking over some of the questions/comments above^^)) A fond look here and there possibly, which would be nice, but thats about it!! The movies wont do anything more than the book, only spice whatever is already there up a bit maybe!! Either way, *two BIG thumbs up*!!!!!!!! (If he is indeed really in this film. And so far looks like all evidence points to it being so!!))

Hmm...I cannot think of where a young Voldemort appears in DH. Maybe Voldemort will have a flashback or something like that. But I doubt that this person playing young Dumbledore will have much screen time. He might just be in the picture in The Life and Lies. Sutpid Skeeter!

I doubt Yates is going to delve into Dumbledores sexuality here, especially since J.K. Rowling does not go into great detail about Grindewald and Dumbledores relationship... and, as you all know by now, the movies have not really kept up with the minute details of the book.

Well, I think this guy will be a good Dumbledore. I definitely approve. But it is absolutely AWFUL that Jamie couldnt remember what his name was. He should have at least Googled it before doing any interviews. Sheesh. LOL, phoenixknighter, Ralph Fiennes with a nose finally, good point! I have no ideaa what his nose really looks like! I do have one question about this whole thing though: Since Dumbledore loved Grindelwald, is Grindelwald gay too?

OK, maybe Im half asleep reading the above, but...Why would Voldemort have a nose when he kills the Potters? Hadnt he already transformed himself by that point? (Replacing eyes for nose that is for the movies--which thank God they did. Looking at red eyes--yuck!) P.S. Does anyone notice a timeline problem with the duel between G and Dmbldr? I thought Aberforth said that it was only about 5 years later, after Arianna was killed that the duel took place. If Albus was born in 1881 then the 1945 duel would not have happened then. Did I miss something?

Also, Mugglenet you have a bad picture of him, makes him look 5 , theres a newer one of him which is MUCH better, and hes 18 so perfect age.
