That was cute! I wasnt a huge fan of this movie, even though it is my favorite book, but they definitely did good on the teenage love thing. I wish there would have been more harry/ginny moments though... And, I cant remember correctly, but did they even break up at the end of the movie?

Yes! Im about to go watch it! I love new stuff!! :) Oh, @ veggie_Potter, unfortunately, no they did not break up. How that will affect the next movie, you know, when they arent suppossed to be dating at all, I have no idea. Theyll probably make some stupid movie exception or something like that.... *is still fumming over the fact that the H/G ship was mutilated*

I agree with everyone above too. The movie totally ruined the H/G relashionship. The kiss was so lame and their buld-up sucked. I wish this movie was more like the book because I really really loved the HBP book. But I cant get over how badly H/G was done in the movie...

Awesome! I love this!! This movie was AMAZING! I cant wait to see it again on dvd! The relationships in HP are so important to the overall story and you can tell the actors and the filmmakers really understand that. I thought the Harry/Ginny kiss was sweet and sexy. They dont need to be full on making out for it to be a great kiss. And Im sure they changed it because Ron had just had the big kiss after a quidditch game, so they wanted the H/G kiss to be different. I loved that part. It was a special moment between them and no one else. And it is was flirtatious and sexy! Subtlety is sexy!

well you GUYS can say the movie RUINED the H/G shipping, but you CANNOT say the movie Sucked.. it was AWESOME! and i have to agree with iwantorlando.. ALL MY LIFE Hollywood ALWAYS makes the big, deep, French kiss, sucking tongue and hicky the MOST sexy way of kissing. But Yates just showed that one kiss can make all the difference.. I have to say the H/G kiss should win an Oscar or something for Best Brief Dry Kiss, lol. I just got all tingly from head to toe when she kissed him, i just thought of my gf.. and no HP movie has ever made me feel like that (especially the COLD Harry/Cho kiss). The only thing i didnt like was when Ginny said "Take My Hand" to Harry.. UGH! That line was soo lame! EVERY Harry Potter movie always has 1 LAME line in it.. from "I can touch you now!" (Voldemort) to "I love Magic" (Harry) to "Take my hand" (Ginny). Im guessing DH Part 1 is gonna have at least 1 lame line too, lol. Anyway in response to Veggie_Potter, I think what they were going for is that both of them NEVER really went out.. so theyll be longing for each other, but can never be in DH, until everything is over.. i like that better. Because their breakup always reminded me of Spider-Man 1.

Really??...I thought the take my hand line was sweet. I think all the people who were disappointed with the H/G kiss in HBP will get their hot, steamy kiss in Deathly Hallows when Ginny gives Harry is "birthday present." Ive always been more into the Ron and Hermione storyline, so as long as they get that right, Im good. And so far they have.

must be a contract business for the Trio actors to promote the "love" in the movie this way, If the honestly faced what the result was and were not reading well rehearsed lines, they would crawl in the deepest hole possible and remain there for the rest of their lives in deep shame.
It was really the worst performance of teenage love possible.

then i guess REAL teenage love Kamion, has to be Sex then, since the movie portrayed it soo "badly" lol. Anyway iwantorlando05.. i remember when my college OSU watched HBP last month , ALOT of ppl were laughing when Ginny said "Take my hand" and i hated all the "Ooooos" and the "Ohhhhhhhs" when Ginny kissed Harry

My favorite "couple" in Potter is Ron & Hermione, and I think theyve ruin a lot of their storyline in the entire movie serie.
I think they did Harry & Ginny pretty well. Unfortunally, I couldnt feel the chemistry between Dan and Bonnie.
I hope its gonna show a little more in the DH movies.
Rupert and Emma on the other hand has an amazing on-screen chemistry and I cant wait to see them kiss! ( I am in no way a real life shipper!)

Mione, the reason they ruined the R/H shipping is because Steve Knowles, the screen writer was a H/H shipper... Although, in Prisoner of Az, they fixed it a bit...
To everyone else who thinks we were comlaining about no sex or french kissing, THIS IS NOT WHAT WE ARE COMPLAINING ABOUT! We were merely remarking out distress about the lack of tension of Harry around rRon and Hermione when Ginny was around. I mean, Harry felt something in the beginning of the book, but he wasnt sure until he found Ginny and Dean making out behind the tapestry. That would have been the best scene ever, because Ron goes crazy, which tells the audience Harry might never get what he wants, and Harry stares in disbelief... And the kiss scene in the movie was absolutely LAME. Not because it was just a little kissy kiss, but because how it happened. My favorite part in the book is when Harry finally kisses her, after she beat his ex at Quidditch playing his position. That was so awesome. "Ginny was walking up to Harry with that hard, b lazing look in her eyes... Without caring that there were fifty people watching, Harry kissed her." I mean, come on. That was epic!

Well isnt that not a bit too much real life love: spending all the time at highschool getting steady with the greatest jock, getting knocked up at the homecoming ball and wondering the rest of the adult life why one married the jerk in the first place?
But Sorry, Ive seen more chemistry between dedd goldfish in a bowl then between Radcliffe and Wright.

@mione: They have not ruined the Ron/Hermione storyline. If anything, thats the one theyve focused on the most. They even started it earlier than it happens in the books. In the books, you dont really get an indication that they might like each other until book 3. But in the movies, they started it in COS. In every HP film, theres a Ron/Hermione moment that builds on their relationship. Whether its flirting or arguing. In POA, theres that moment in Hagrids class when she accidentally grabs his hand and there are tons of them in GOF. In OOTP, there are a lot of flirtatious moments between them. Like the part when they have that duel and she wins. And when Ron asks her to do his homework and then theres a moment when Ron gets that furry vest for Christmas...anyways, you get my point. Unless you were in denial or delusional, its pretty obvious in the films that Ron and Hermione have had a thing for each other pretty much since movie one.

The Harry/Ginny relationship is toned way down in the movie, but I thought it somehow actually came across pretty bizarrely sexual in the movie, where its more innocent in the book. That scene where Ginny basically "offers herself" to Harry in the Room of Requirement was way dirtier than anything in the books!

You seem very wise, iwantorlando05. Subtle is, indeed, sexy. And Veggie_Potter, in order for there to be a Harry/Ginny kiss like there was in the book, there would have to be another Quidditch match and that wasnt going to happen.

Hey plum_cake, you said iwantorlando05 is wise.. I TAUGHT HIM EVERYTHING HE KNOWS! lol jk. Anyway He/Shes right. Ron/Hermione relationship has been portrayed SINCE COS.. it FIRST started at the very end of the movie, when Hermione ran to hug Harry, then when she came over to Ron, They Both stopped and looked at each other in a weird way. Back then ppl woulda thought Hermione would NEVER hug Ron, she likes Harry more.. but that was a syndication of future hormonal tensions. I think Columbus didnt even KNOW what he was doing when he put that brilliant scene in. In the first movie SS (PS for all you British Folks;), Ron and Harry were friends FIRST, Hermione didnt come around until Halloween, and Ron always made in fun of her the MOST. "No wonder she hasnt got any friends." I learned through life that when a guy or girl, moreoverly a GUY makes in fun of a girl TOO MUCH during their young years, theyre gonna like her eventually. And girls who guys usually treat like their bratty little sister end up falling in love with them anyway. Its weird, but thats how Attraction WORKS. Thats why when people question about R/HR and think that it should be H/HR i doubt that theyve been in a REAL Relationship.. Girls are MORE likely to go out with a jerk, dumbass, or thug (No offense to Ron) then go out with someone whos NICE to them, and treats them like their sister.
