YAY!

I keep hearing from others that they aren't opening until 2011... Part of me hopes so, so that I will for sure be able to go on opening day, because I just won't have the funds to travel all the way to Orlando so early next year... Hmmm, has anyone else seen anything different, time wise?

Well, the other day posters started going up at my schoo, for Universal's Annual Grad Bash. On the poster it showed a promotional picture of Harry with Hogwarts in the background as well as the new Hollywood Rip Ride Rockits (however it's spelled XD). It says on their website as well that this year's grads will be the first graduating class to experience two new attractions, Wizarding World and Rockits. The Gradbash dates start on the 23rd of April...so I'm assuming it will be open a little bit prior to that at least. UNLESS something happens and they can't. They've still got A LOT to do...

Well, the Rip Ride Rockit was supposed to open in Spring 2009, and it didn't open until late August - but if what rinacee says is right then I would guess it opens over April Vacation.

It's good to know that construction is continuing, but seriously, this news post is getting kind of repetetive.

I've seriously got to start saving my money! I'm so EFFIN excited! I still think it won't open in the Spring...that's only 5 or 6 months away. They will probably push it back to the Summer. I think this park is going to look AMAZING during Christmas time...just imagine all the lights and all the different things they can do! :D

Universal has a contract with warner bros to have the park finished by June 30th. So, it should be open before then, but no promises. I saw the castle being built just last week when I was at Islands of Adventure and it looks AMAZING! Also, they are turning Dueling Dragons into a Harry Potter ride based on the hungarian horntail and chinese fireball. There is going to be a Zonkos, Honeydukes, 3 broomsticks, and an owlery too! :)

I wish this post was more repetitive, there are thousands more pics out there about every other day. Alas, Mugglenet only posts information from reputable sources. There is WAY more than just Dragon Challenge, Zonkos, Honeydukes, 3 Broomsticks, and The Owlery. Check out Mugglenets info page. It will definitely open some time spring 2010, I hope it is before Spring Break and Summer, so I can go without there being a big crowd there.
