Dan Radcliffe to star in upcoming episode of The Simpsons
Many of you have written in with word that Potter lead actor Dan Radcliffe will be lending his voice to an upcoming episode of The Simpsons. From Entertainment Weekly:In a Twilight spoof that’s part of next fall’s “Treehouse of Horror XXI,” the Harry Potter star plays Edmund, a kid vampire whom Lisa falls for. Alas, Edmund’s father, a.k.a. Dracula, and Homer try to squash the budding romance. “Daniel was very excited to do The Simpsons,” says Jean, “and we kept trying to ask him for secrets from the upcoming Harry Potter movie until we realized that they were all in the books.”
The episode should be airing on FOX in just under a year from now. Thanks to everyone who e-mailed with the tip!

@superfish: When have the twilight actors bashed harry potter...i haven't heard anything about that. But I don't watch their interviews either since I'm not a fan. I have heard of other celebs bashing twilight aka Miley Cyrus and Evanna Lynch but I haven't heard it the other way around. Link please! Anyways, i think this will just be harmless fun. I can't wait.

SUPER SWEET! Daniel Radcliffe finally voices in an Animation, his favorite TV show too, lol. (I prefer Family Guy though, but that's cool). And it's great he's making in fun of Twilight, just Before we see him in DH Part 1.. Twilight is going DOWNHILL, and they don't even know it!.. their ship is almost done sailing.. and about Miley Cyrus.. WOW.. i actually have a newfound respect for her for bashing Twilight. Ok, maybe a lil respect for her lmao.

I LOVED all The Simpsons Harry Potter parodies, from Treehouse of Terror XII: Wiz Kids, to the parody of the Half-Blood Prince ("No man should outlive his fictional wizard!!!) and the parody of Deathly Hallows (Angelica Button and the Deadly Denouement). Truly classic for any HP Fan. Also JK's appearance as herself when The Simpsons go to London.

@txRaBbit: I agree the HP Simpson's parodies are hilarious. There have been a lot of them. One of my favorite Harry Potter parodies is in South Park...it's on episode when they're also parodying LOTR. I can't remember the exact line but it was hilarious. BTW, if anyone hasn't seen the video of Dan on the show EXTRAS...youtube it immediately. You won't regret it.

I read a long time ago that Simpsons was Radcliffe's fav. show, so I congratulate him. Must be exiting and at the same time an honor. And TWILIGHT SUCKS. New Moon = EPIC FAIL. So its good news for many of us here as well! HORRAAYYYY!!!
I hope Miley realizes that Twilight and Hannah Montana often appeal to a similar crowd.
But if she realized that, it means she might have brains and that would make her, well, NOT Miley Cyrus.
actually, a lot of Twilight fans hate Hannah Montana and HM attracts more children than teens. Remember, twilight attracts tween girls, teen girls and boys, men and women...mums....grandmas. ..*shudders* and miley cyrus is intelligent and independent--as evident by her bashing for twilight :P
