Felton, Wright talk Deathly Hallows epilogue
Felton, Wright talk Deathly Hallows epilogue Similar to the interview from Australia we showed you the other day, a Belgian newspaper has online new interviews with Tom Felton and Bonnie Wright to promote the Half-Blood Prince DVD. Of particular note is this photo of the cast (thanks, Snitch Seeker) on the Deathly Hallows set as well as Bonnie and Tom talking about filming the epilogue:

Tom Felton: We still have several months filming. The last scene we will probably be filming the scene 19 years later is playing. I'm very curious how we all will be.

Bonnie Wright: I'm looking forward to returning to King's Cross station. I had my first scene for the first Harry Potter movie ten years ago. I hardly knew then what acting was. I especially remember that I was freezing.

Tom: We've spent more than ten years together on this film set. We have grown up here. It will be strange to say goodbye.

Bonnie: Who knows, we can have a reunion in about ten years. What became of the actors? Maybe we'll play together in the Harry Potter musical. (Laughs)

NO! No Potter musical, PLEASE XD Anyway, I can't wait to see how they do that scene, too. Of course by the time I see it on screen, I'll be bawling my eyes out because it'll be THE end. Dang :/

Yeah it's gonna be sad, but you can still read and watch the dvd when it's released. Can't wait to see how the '19 years later' is going to be. Can't really wait to see the whole movie. I do hope hope hope they show the scene where Snape dies, it's quite important! And I like the idea of a reunion in 10 years, or something :D

This is starting to get depressing. I know we still have awhile before the movie comes out, but hearing them talk about the end of filming is just making me so sad. It's really sentimental for them to save the epilogue for last. I bet that will be an emotional day on set. I was watching the special features for LOTR: Return of the King and there's a part on there where Peter Jackson and Elijah Wood are filming the very last scene for the movie and Jackson keeps making them do the scene over and over because he doesn't want to say, "that's a wrap." It's so SAD!!! I bet it's going to be like that on the HP films. Everyone will be crying like babies on that last day.

It def. gonna be a sad day when its official over and done with. I think I'm gonna cry at the end of DH 2. I really cannot wait for the movie but yet again I don't want it to end.

I like Bonnie's thinking!! ;)

Posted by siriusnprongs Nov 25th 2009

Cool interview!! It would be iconic if the last scene the film is literally the end! But still very sad...Let's pause time, yeah?

Posted by Mottocat Nov 25th 2009

Haha-- Niice Bonnie, very good. ;) It's sad that for them the movies will seem like they're over before they do to us, you know, with filming ending. But I guess they still do have the release parties. :)

Hmmmm. I'm liking this HP Musical idea...that would be TOTALLY AWESOME! I wonder if Bonnie has seen AVPM?

Posted by fuzzyfuzzann Nov 25th 2009

hi mercedes

Posted by Im_No_Muggle Nov 25th 2009

Lol Gryffindor_Seeker_7. I think all the actors should see AVPM. But anyway, I think it is so cool that Bonnie will be returning to King's Cross after ten years, this time as a adult. I think I might cry during this scene.

Posted by krazykobra29 Nov 25th 2009

do you think any of them have seen AVPM? if not they SHOULD

Posted by Gryffindor_Seeker_7 Nov 25th 2009

I agree, I think they would all LOVE AVPM (who wouldn't?), but they probably don't have a lot of time on their hands. I am fortunate enough to have time to watch it over and over, but I am not filming a movie. But yeah, they would REALLY appreciate it, I'm sure.

Posted by hpintwense06 Nov 25th 2009

Aw, it will be so sad when they are all done with the movies! But yeah, I definitely think they should do a reunion!

Posted by PureBloodPrincess17 Nov 25th 2009

I think Rowling should make an 8th book! And it will take out all of the attention that Twilight is having. But she REALLY should make an 8th book. If I ever met her, I'd BEG until she says yes!!!

Posted by hpchocofreak Nov 25th 2009

@mione18-Yea, I'm definitely going to cry to! These movies have been going on for so long, its going to be strange for everyone when they're over. I can't imagine not being able to look forward to the next HP movie!!

Posted by ajmrowland Nov 25th 2009

@PureBloodPrincess17, that's wrong on so many levels. level 1. a sequel to a series that's wrapped up it's story already doesn't normally fall well with anyone. level 2. She's started working on an entirely other novel, and does not to return to Potter much at all. level 3. you're obvious fangirlism isn't very flattering.

Posted by hermionenessie Nov 25th 2009

i think it's sweet that bonnie wants to have a reunion in ten years. that is a good idea, actually, i would love for them to do some kind of tv special about what they've been doing with their lives post-potter...and yeah, i'll definetly cry when the last movie is over. like a baby, probably.

Posted by mintyfrost Nov 26th 2009

HP Musical. Haha, right. :)) I read the other parts of the interview and I think the worst that could happen is the 'Harry Potter on Ice' suggested by Tom Felton. I really laughed hard on that. That part with Dan being hit by a cricket ball in the face is funny too. There should be a reunion on September 1, 2017, the date wherein the epilogue will officially happen. LOL.

Posted by shonz905 Nov 26th 2009

aw, this is starting to get really sad. i mean, really sad. i can't imagine how those guys will feel, especially dan, emma, and rupert. that's got to be awful to know that you can never do it ever again in you life. and no matter what film you make, nothing could possibly ever be more special than HP, right? it's like they KNOW that the best time of their life is ending, and soon. =( that's how i feel. not much time left, is there? but I say LET'S ENJOY IT UNTIL THE VERY END! =D

"Tom Felton: We still have several months filming..." [sic.] Chairwoman of the American Sector of the Apostrophe Protection Society. Haha. Seriously, though. Andrew, I'm sure you copy-pasted this, but it gets on my nerves when people forget punctuation. All the best!
