Potter joins with other fandoms to raise over $33,000 in just six hours for Haitian relief efforts

Earlier today, Harry Potter fans joined with members of fandoms from other popular books, movies, and TV series in a home-grown effort to contribute to the growing humanitarian aid and charitable relief activities in Haiti. The Helping Haiti Heal webcast, benefiting Partners in Health, raised over $33,000 in just six hours time! The fundraising efforts will continue throughout the week until Saturday, January 30 at 11:59 p.m. If you would like to donate please visit this page. You can become eligible for the now more than 200 gifts generously given by so many different people. The signature item is a signed U.K. Edition set of the Harry Potter series by J.K.
