Potter fans will finally know when the Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park will open. On Thursday, March 25 at 12 pm ET the opening date will be revealed as well as special details about The Forbidden Journey ride.
In a new video released by Universal Orlando, fans get a behind-the-scenes look at some of the content that will be used throughout the theme park. Dan Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, James and Oliver Phelps, Michael Gambon, Robbie Coltrane and Stuart Craig are all feature.

HEY! THIS IS VERY MISLEADING. I first read it as: Wizarding World opening date to revealed to be March 25th. It got my hopes up, CUZ ILL BE IN FLORIDA THAT DAY AND WEEKEND. At first I misread this and thought that the park was opening on March 25 and I freaked out! But this is so exciting- I cant wait to see details on the Forbidden Journey. This park is looking FANTASTIC- Im trying not to get my hopes up too much!

The Theme park opening date to be revealed on March 25...earlier it was reported, that the opening wud be no later than June 30. I wonder if filming would be hastened now, (I used the word hastened) to enable everybody (& I mean everybody) to attend the opening. Filming takes place in the UK, and the park is in Orlando. There shouldnt be a case of, hey we have to attend the opening...oh s***, its an imp scene to be filmed tomorrow, we have to get back quickly...we cant delay filming now, etc. etc. etc....

If you click on the "Park Deals" on the Universal Studios website, the "Harry Potter" package is first available for travel dates beginning Friday, May 28. (Thats the Friday of Memorial Day weekend for anyone without a calendar handy. I suppose that is still technically spring, even in FLA!) Though I wonder if it wont open at least one day earlier for some lucky prize winners?
