Four unique Harry Potter book auctions kick off to benefit charity for Bangladesh

Yesterday, four special Potter-related items went up for sale on eBay to benefit a charity called Project Bangladesh. The charity’s mission is to build a school, a library, and a computer lab for needy children in Bangladesh. The charity's website is at this link.

This first item is the only Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone Collector’s Edition signed by both J.K. Rowling and Mary GrandPré. It contains an original sketch of Harry Potter by GrandPré.

Next is this regular edition of Sorcerer's Stone that is also signed by JK Rowling and Mary GrandPre and includes a sketch of Harry.

Third is a signed first edition of Chamber of Secrets with a sketch of a basilisk. This one too is signed by Jo and Mary.

Last is this Prisoner of Azkaban book signed by JK Rowling.

The auctions run over the next ten days.

They make a fuss about Hogsmeade, but I assure you, Harry, it's not all it's cracked up to be. All right, the sweetshop's rather good, and Zonko's Joke Shop is frankly dangerous, and yes, the Shrieking Shack's always worth a visit, but really, Harry, apart from that you're not missing anything.
