The official Harry Potter Twitter account has announced that the first full-fledged trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will make its online debut Monday, June 28th at 7 PM ET/4 PM PT.
The trailer will then be seen in theaters with The Twilight Saga: Eclipse on June 30th.
MuggleNet will have the trailer on our site the moment it's made available. We'll also host a live MuggleCast soon after to discuss our reactions.
As we reported this morning, one entertainment analyst saw this Deathly Hallows trailer and called it the best trailer of the year.

It was pretty obvious it was going to be online but it's amazing and surprising nonetheless!!! Guess what im doing june 28th?: Im going to go to my computer with my brother (also a huge HP fan), gonna click the video, gonna put pause until it has finished being downloaded with the best quality, so that it doesnt lag and i enjoy it even more. Then, when it finishes downloading, im gonna turn off the lights, maximise the video, put all my senses into the video, put play and...... enjoy myself in a huge way, no doubt.---- I personally wasnt planning on watching eclipse even for the trailer (even though i love to see HP trailers on theatres), so i hold my breath that it will be shown in front of inception (both are WB, so it's a logical move from WB to show it. besides, it will make me anticipate inception much more). AHHHH! SO glad I agreed to going to see Eclipse at midnight with my sisters! This will be the first time I see a Harry Potter trailer in theaters when I am actually a fan! Last year when I went to see The Proposal they had the Half-Blood Prince trailer (but even then when I wanted nothing to do will HP and didn't know ANYTHING about the story I thought it was a fabulous trailer!). Some people (Hedwig_swoops328........) don't seem to realize why they are giving a trailer with part 1 and 2. DH IS ONE STORY and basically one movie. It is only split into two parts. This trailer is probably going to give us more of an in-depth description of what the film is about. I can't wait. Also, this is a random topic I will bring up (not pertaining to the film trailer), but I have been rereading DH and noticed in the chapter of "The Missing Mirror" pg. 564, that implications suggest Ariana was raped by muggle boys. I may be speculating incorrectly. She may have just been attacked; but J.K. Rowling handles the situation in the same matter she handles Dumbledore's sexuality: through implications. She never bluntly states what the boys did to Ariana; and I'm quite sure she wouldn't have minded writing in there that Ariana was violently attacked; so I assume that she was raped. Here's the piece of dialogue: "They (the boys) forced their way through the hedge, and when she couldn't show them the trick, they got a bit carried away trying to stop the little freak doing it." Aberforth continues, "It destroyed her, what they did: She was never right again." J.K. Rowling never says what happened, which leads me to assume it's rape. Let me know if any of you jumped to the same conclusion while reading this or thought this from the get-go, because both this and the proof of Dumbledore's sexuality came to be a great shock.

@Alexander: I think most people assumed Ariana was assaulted in some way. Rape seems the most likely, because rape is about power not sex. They were probably scared of her and wanted to control her in some way, so I'm sure they beat her to a pulp. I love that JKR leaves it up to the immagination, so each person can kind of insult their own horror.

Otherwise by the time Part II comes around a ton of footage will have already been released through the bits that are in the trailers now and the footage that's going to be in the trailers for just that part. YAY!!! so excited! I can not wait to see it!
What I think is kind of funny is that the Narnia trailer came out on the 18th and Narnia opens in Dec. While the HP trailer comes out after that when Part 1 comes out in Nov. I just thought that was funny!

Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!! I've already commented on this but couldn't contain myself and had to post again! I really really hope to see a little bit of Malfoy Manor, and umm, also bits of the wedding or Bathilda's secrect!!! but actually, I don't really want to see any of The Battle Of Hogwarts because I want most, if not all, of that to be a complete surprise for when I see the whole movie, that's my way of thinking! :) I also can't wait because that will be a perfect time for me when it airs, 6 p.m. :D I will watch it again and again and again, all night!! I'm afraid that if it aired for me at a late time, I'd be the only one awake and then I wouldn't be able to jump around and scream and possibly faint, lol :D

Guys, there is no need to see Eclipse if you just want to see the hp trailer. We would be giving them what they want and increasing their box office gross. I'm sure WB will show it with another one of their movies. Anyways, I am really excited for this trailer and hope it shows enough but not too much. They should show Bellatrix, Malfoy, and Snape, characters I am really excited to see. I can't wait for Monday!

I'm hoping for a glimpse of Malfoy Manor and Bathilda's Secret! Those are one of the best parts of the book in my opinion. I just hope they don't show the Ron and Hermione kiss. I don't think they would.. but hey, you never know.

I was at work the other day and a fellow employee, friend of mine, said that he didn't think there'd be anything to look forward to in Part 1 since the trio are "just walking around." lol. He hasn't read the books. I will say this: there is enough suspense in Part 1 to make a very effective and entertaining film. Despite the battle, the biggest scenes and many discoveries are made in part 1. For one thing, we will see the wedding, the camping, the infiltration of the Ministry (which is actually the scene I'm most looking forward to. That one and the scene where Ron destroys the locket), Bathilda's Secret, Xenophilius Lovegood, and the invasion of the Snatchers. That, I am proud to say, is enough to make one solid film, and I cannot wait.

There is one thing that wasn't said with the announcement of the trailer's release online. Where can we go to find the trailer, if we don't want to wait for Mugglenet or other sites to add it? Will it be released on WB's website like with the HBP trailer release??

ALEXANDER RODRIGUEZ: I agree with you completely, and i believe this film is most likey to stand on its own and not as a two part film of a book, cuz it will have a solid and incredible plot, and i believe a strong climax.... I also agree with you cuz that kind of happenned to me too. I was talking with my uncles and cousins about how it was gonna be two parts, and they were like 'meh, they're just doing it for money and they dont need to do two films to fit everything in". Of course they want money, but they are also really working very hard to please us fans and leave the best for the last (and considering i have loved all previous films, especially HBP, i cant believe how good this is going to be! Part one will have so many important (and exciting) scenes, and it was one of the best news i received in the last years that DH was going to be split in two parts, cuz it is totally necessary this time. Yates, i really look up to you :D And to prove that part 1 will be amazing, i need to watch the trailer ASAP! (although i know they will include from both parts)........ cant wait for DH"!

Alvispotter, I must say it is always a pleasure agreeing with you. You seem like an intelligent and very dedicated fan. WB has more than money on its mind this time around. I am almost certain that DH would be a complete mess if the filmmakers had not decided to make it two films. They would have condensed the camping scenes to a mere two or three scenes while cutting plot developments like Bathilda's Secret and even the infiltration of Gringotts. They would have probably presented the cup horcrux in Malfoy Manor, and these things may have destroyed the sequence of the overall story. After all, it seems David Yates and Steve Kloves are in this for the love of the art of film and the material. Otherwise, I don't think either would have stayed so long. Yates built roots in the series, and his vision is the strongest right after Alfonso Cuaron's. He would not compromise character development and story just to be rid of the series; he is creating art. That is where I felt Mike Newell lacked (he made a blockbuster with--in my opinion--no artistic integrity). Yates understands that one need not be sacrificed for the sake of the other. He incorporates all the thrills of a blockbuster with all the incredible cinematography and visuals of an engrossing photograph. I was excited for the trailer from the start, but after reading that a critic thinks it's the best one this year, I am even more excited. I am also really anticipating seeing the expressions of awe that all the closed-minded nonfans will make once they see what this entire series has been about. I don't lie, I pity the people who did not give this series a chance(the books and movies), because it really has been a spectacle and a classic of our time. I feel very privileged to have grown up with both. I can honestly say that Harry Potter is one great thing I will take away from my childhood and early adulthood. Finally, these will be the two films to win all audiences over and open their eyes to the wonder that is and will always be Harry Potter.

im really exited... the harry potter movies are the greatest examples of innovation and trust and love.... and these books and movies are filled with all of them..

And again i agree with the pity to those who didnt give the series a chance, cuz i really have to say Harry Potter was one of the best thing (if not the best) thaty happenned during my childhood and teenage years, and that will reamin with me forever even though the final film comes out in my early adulthood. And i cant wait to go the wizarding world of harry potter, even if when i get the chance i'll be more than twenty years old. PHOENIXMASTER: I agree. This in particular will have it all, and therefore will attract a lot more non-readers. It'll have great art direction (and all it implies), great action for those who love some, amazing drama and tension, great storyline, even more character development that includes amazing romance, great acting and still that desire to want more!

alexander rodriguez, i totally agree with you. Yet, as HBP is my fave, i'm first with yates, then cuarón. But it's true that cuarón put a stamp and had a vision that may surpass yates's, but well, thats just my opinion, and many critics and such a devoted fan as you think otherwise (dont get me wrong, i got you love yates too, i just change the order). Guys, CANT WAIT FOR DH!!

@ALEJANDRO RODRIGUEZ: I thought it Ariana had been raped from the get-go, the first time I read that piece of dialogue. Until now, I hadn't had the chance to discuss it, though. It's good to know that you understood that too. I think it's very important to understand why Ariana was so traumatized after that experience and why her mother wouldn't allow her to go out.
