Young Sirius Black, according to Spotlight Children Casting, will be played by 12 year old Rohan Gotobed.
Fans will recall that in Deathly Hallows Chapter 33, The Prince's Tale, best friends Severus Snape and Lily Evans (Harry's mother) ride the Hogwarts Express sharing the same compartment with Sirius Black and James Potter. We assume this is the scene Rohan will be in.

YAY!!! So far it seems like they're filming everything!!! I'm so happy that they're keeping in The Prince's Tale scenes, because they're such an important insight into Snape's character. Rohan Gotobed (lol!) is perfect for the Sirius character!! I love his curly hair!

He has the right face and the grey eyes for Sirius. His hair is my only concern. It is way light(hopefully they darken it)and also I never pictured him with curly hair but as Gary has curly hair I guess he should too...The more I look at him the more I accept him as little Sirius. I wonder who will be little James, Lily, and Snape...?

your hair gets darker when you get older you know, so maybe they'll leave it like this. In OOTP Sirius aso isn't that dark. And don't criticize to son, things look very different on screen. Same goes for the epilogue pictures, they might change their looks with computer and with lights and all those things. These movies will be awesome, don't worry people.

Guys, don't jump to the inclusion we will be seeing The Prince's Tale in its entirety. Young Petunia still hasn't been cast, and in the Occlumencia description of Rohan's scene, it says that it is when "Lily, Severus, James, and Sirius meet for the first time". For all we know, the beginning of The Prince's Tale could be on the Hogwarts Express. No Young Petunia has been cast.

He's really great for the role, and greatly casted. No doubt he'll do a marvelous job and i cant wait to see what he has to offer. I actually think he looks like sirius, even with his hair (which can totally change into a darker color as the years go by). They can dye it or not, i think both decisions would be great! KEATON: You're right, we dont know that yet. But we know they they are staying very true to the book and that's all we need in an adaptation of it (as script goes i mean, the artistic part of the film is another matter). What i mean is that maybe that'll be included, maybe it wont, but im sure they'll make a very good decision in whatever they choose to do about it. From what we've heard, this looks amazing. And today we'll see more details in the trailer. CANT WAIT FOR IT!!

I think he's perfect. He looks like sirius completely. As Bdrge said, your hair gets darker when you get older. I think, just in this picture, he's perfect (hair and all), but if they do dye his hair, it'll be awesome too. And keaton, i tell you now that NOT EVERYTHING WILL BE INCLUDED, but it seems that most of it will be. All hp movies have been great (the adaptations have been amazing), so imagine what they can do with 2 movies. Its gonna be amazing. Cant wait to see what rohan gives us, AND CANT WAIT FOR DH!!!
