A couple weeks ago we reported that Warner Brothers would be presenting new footage from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows at this year's Comic Con in San Diego.
At the time we did not know whether or not cast or crew would appear. We've just learned that due to scheduling conflicts, they will not be in attendance.
However, WB tells us to still expect never-before-seen footage as well as props and a "special opportunity only available to Comic-Con attendees."

My bro works on the post production editing of the series. Xeno scenes are very limited and only 4 horcruxes are explained. . We won't see his death but its implied. No one witnesses the courtyard scene, its just them two. And they had to edit the pensieve storyline cos snape was not given a strong enough storyline. The shit has hit the fans (which is us) and its hbp again. Brilliant trailer, damaged movie

I dont believe they are gonna do that with fred's death. its an important scene. im sure all horcruxes will get explained as best as they can. and they extended the harry and voldie fight scene so people may witness parts of it.

Koliven Reddy, you better be lying because if you're not I'm sure we would be ready to burn Yates and Kloves alive (sorry for that, but I would be mighty angry). I mean, don't they know how much this book means to us? If they are given 2+ hours to work with for each part of the book, they better include all the important information. Oh, and if they mess with the pensieve scene, I will be very very disappointed.
Anyway, other than that horrible disappointed that those changes would make, I would really like to see the Deathly Hallows footage. If anyone is attending, would you mind recording it? It would be a shame if we all missed it. A pity that the actors couldn't be there, it would have been so much better if they had (but see they aren't in the public eye that much besides premieres and such).

I hope the new footage is from DH part ONE! We've seen a lot of part two (at least I think it's part two--we still don't know where the split is), but hardly any of part one.

TROLL IN THE DUNGEON!!! Koliven Reddy: Is convincing, but so are quite a few other people who have claimed to have "inside information" about the movie. One blogger actually ranted about how there was no Dobby in the movie, when pictures were released showing them filming the Dobby scenes and there's also evidence in the trailer of Dobby being killed by Bellatrix.
Most of these people are TROLLS who just want to scare the fans, but they have no credible information. I'm not forming any opinions or believing any "RUMORS" until I've seen the movie for myself.

Anyway back to Comic-Con. Warner Bros say they aren't coming but somethings it changes last minute and the comic-con pros don't buy it. Also with the fact that Matt Lewis said he was going. I'll wait until the full ComicCon schedule is out to really see.

I can see them editing quite a few scenes unfortunately. For Harry's storyline they only NEED put in Snape/Dumbledore. That shows he is still loyal. I hope they leave in the fact that he was was in love with Lily, and tortured himself for the rest of his life over her death. It brings SO MUCH

If I wanted every little detail spoonfed to me, I would re-read the books, and leave the movies alone. But I'm not like that. I enjoy them both as two completely different forms of entertainment.
Besides, doesn't Jo Rowling have final say over the script, and the movies? If she accepts The Deathly Hallows movies as they are, why can't you haters?

Now, regarding Fred's death...Looking at Ron/Rupert's eyes as he is backing away with Hermione, I'd say he just witnessed his brother's death and is "shooting" at a spider. So, I'll hold out for Fred. Can you imagine Fred and George at that wedding...oh the pranks...the audience wil re-engage with them so much to have one hurt and then killed. It is not the nameless people in the battle that will resonate with the viewers,(I counted 17 bodies around Harry and Voldie) it's the families we've grown to love and that is why imo we will see Fred.

Alright, well even if Kovilen Reddy is correct, none of those are terribly big changes. 4 horcruxes explained? Well, let's see, we already have 3 down, so no big deal there. Xeno is not that important, so I can live. Snape's memories were not a big part of the book for me, but we know young Sirius is cast, so I would say that's a lie. And we don't really "see" Fred die in the book either, it's so fast. I have complete faith in these films.

Another reason Kovilen Reddy is making things up, they already showed footage of all the Horcruxes. Well not really but close enough. They already explained the Diary, Locket, and the Ring. We seen footage of Neville with the sword so they obviously explained Nagini. We just saw footage of Hermione and Ron at the Chamber of Secrets and the trio at Gringotts so thats the Cup. We saw footage of the Room of Requirement scene so thats the Diadem explained. Finally we saw hints of Harry Horcruxness(:P) in Half-Blood Prince(Head twitching when he touched ring) and saw him walk to his death so thats that. He is a liar.

As far as Snape's memories goes, Dan did an interview with MTV...it's buried here in the archives somewhere, he was touring the Forbidden Journey with the interviewer. They were standing in Dumbledore's office and he said that he was standing on the exact spot where Harry saw Snape's memories in the Pensieve. ~~~ @USAhermione: If I understand Comic Con, it covers all sorts of Sci-fi/Fantasy things, so I think HP would fall in that category.
