I've never watched that show.

Posted by nearly_headless_nick Sep 28th 2006

Yes I saw his episode just 2 hours ago on bbc2, it was so so so funny. Dan is brilliant, it's great he likes to joke about himself, only people with a lot of sense of humor and confidence can do that, and Warwick Davis was very funny too. :)

Dan looks great in these clips! I wish I could get this show on my tv!!! It is a hoot!

Posted by hermy10 Sep 28th 2006

i can't watch it. quite depressing, other sites say if you live outside UK, you can watch it on the BBC site. but the truth is u still can't watch it. i tried it.

Posted by nearly_headless_nick Sep 28th 2006

At the moment you can not see those clips is you are not from UK, here there is a little clip of today episode: http://www.yout ube.com/watch?v=RAQT39oA5 W0 (delete the possible spaces). The actress is Diana Rigg, she was one of the most beautiful actress in UK (come on, she still is!), she acted in a series called The Avengers where she wore a s3xy catsuit. Now you can understand the clip hehe. I think one of the most funny parts was the scene with Dan and Warwick. xD

Posted by xoxDreamerGirlxox Sep 28th 2006

I couldn't watch it either!!! And when I saw the "full programme" link, I got so excited!!! It sucks that you can't watch it online if you don't live in the UK!!! How is anyone else supposed to see it then?!?! :((( They used to show Extras on CH in Canada, though (but they usually aired in like April or May), so I hope they do the same again. I might only see it months from now, but as long as I see it...

Posted by enderwiggin Sep 28th 2006

OK: go to you tube and search "Radcliffe Extras" That'll get you what you want.

Posted by quidditchplayer Sep 28th 2006

But youtube has not the entire episode, I hope someone upload it soon! thanks for the link nearly_headless_nick, that little scene is hilarious too!

Posted by fi_the_fairynymph Sep 28th 2006

i watched the episode, twas soooo funny! i think dan's got real potential in comedy! warwick davis was also really funny. loved the bits with diana rigg... "do you still have your catsuit from the avengers?" "oh go away daniel"

Posted by Flaming_Red_Hair Sep 28th 2006

Awsome!!! Dan is soooo funny!!!! It's weird for me too see him in Extras thought since i'm so used to seeing him as Harry Potter!!!

Posted by Dancer_1021 Sep 28th 2006

hehh funny.

Posted by Flaming_Red_Hair Sep 28th 2006

*though

Posted by kitty_travers Sep 28th 2006

He is trying very hard to mature his image isn't he. It was great but not as funny as Orlando Bloom two weeks ago. I wasn't really a fan of his before, but I am now. Anybody who can't see Extras yet, it's worth seeing the whole series, not just this episode. I'm sure it will be exported, eventually.

Posted by quidditchplayer Sep 28th 2006

lol I just saw a part of the episode, the other scene with Diana Rigg and the condom is brilliant, 'tic', 'tic' lol And Dan plays it so natural, even if it is obvious that's all the contrary of how he really is, we know he loves reading etc Loved when he was trying to impress Maggie lol He is becoming a great actor.

Posted by Dharma Sep 28th 2006

LMAO! He looked ridiculous and he was playing a ridiculous character but I bet he had a blast doing that :) I think my favorite part was with the cigarettes, when Mum comes in the middle of his showing off LOL

Posted by nearly_headless_nick Sep 28th 2006

I don't think Dan did it to mature his image, he accepted to do the episode without reading the script (he is a Gervais's fan), so he didn't know if it was going to be mature or not. Actors just do Extras to have fun, like Gervais says. kitty_travers, Dan did great, but it also depends of how good the script Gervais and Merchant write is. I didn't like much the episode with Bloom, because I found it predictable, and that's what Extras is not supposed to be. But last week episode with David Bowie was very funny ("pug pug" lol) and the episode with Dan and Warwick too. Bowie's episode was for an easy laughter and Dan's episode is more intelligent humor, I mean that it is ironic and maybe you have to know how really Dan is to understand how satirical it is the character he plays. Anyway, I think Gervais and Merchant are genius. :D

Posted by Kamion Sep 28th 2006

Radcliffe's act was worth sitting through two previous episodes of a show I did not like very much at all. But to be honest the star of this episode was Warwick Davies, since long not covered in ridiculous make up but showing his own strong expressive face. Self mocking of movies tycoons is the strong point of this show and Dan performed that perfect by calling for his mammy. Btw. Dan looks far better WITH his glasses, then without

Posted by Dharma Sep 28th 2006

By the way, am I the only one who thinks that the opening having someone crying off scene is NOT a coincidence? :p If so, even more kudos to Dan for going all out in the "am going to make fun of myself" :D

Posted by Rictemsempra Sep 28th 2006

Grrr I couldn't watch it..... I wish I lived in the UK so I could. :(

Posted by bluesnidget Sep 28th 2006

Watched it all and it was SO SO funny, Dan was excellent, Warwick and Diana Rigg were very cool and the leegend that is the Gervais continues in brilliance. I just am so jealous of Ashley Jensen who plays Maggie - this week she got a snog of Dan and in the first episode it was Orlando - also a very funny ep if you can catch it - it's well not fair TUT I am seriously thinking about changing my career to being an extra now, if I adopt her unfased by gorg actor come ons attitude it could be a winner!

Posted by nearly_headless_nick Sep 28th 2006

Warwick was great too, but I think it was Merchant who made those scenes beetween Warwick and him so funny, like the hobbit and the Gozzilla jokes lol I'm reading opinions in forums non HP related and they say this was the best episode of this season so far and all the actors were great. :)

Posted by HPPhoenix07 Sep 28th 2006

I'm having the same problem and can't watch from the BBC 2 website!!!!! This is so disappointing and it's driving me mad!! I want to watch so badly!! Maybe someone gracious enough from the UK will put it on YouTube? Oh, I really hope someone really, really, really nice, who might perhaps love us Americans and would let us watch the video through YouTube!!

Posted by Dharma Sep 28th 2006

In what sites are you reading that? :-)
