The Deathly Hallows panel took place earlier today at Comic-Con 2010 and included a great new clip from the two-part finale. Check out the description in our blog below (we will have video as soon as it is available).

- Clip included: shots of a dead Dumbledore, Nagini, Bellatrix holding Harry, the 7 Potters, Harry and Hagrid driving through Hogwarts, Snape meeting with Voldemort, Death Eaters congregating, Ron talking about listening to the radio, Harry and Ron's fight, Bellatrix going crazy and lots of shots of Harry and Hagrid on the motorbike.

@Martin Alyass I'm thinking a clip, because if it was a trailer they'd probably be releasing it to all of us, and not make it exclusive to comic con ticket buyers, but I dont know for sure. And Sana, I know! Ive been thinking the same thing!

i did not like it, the death eaters couldn't have attacked the burrow because it was given protection by the ministry and the order... we saw in DH that voldy couldn't penetrate through the order's protection to get to harry at the tonks'... just thought it was a bit far off from theory

Sure, adding stuff may enhance the MOVIE, but kills precious time for plot development. I hate it when they add useless, cute scenes when they could be adding vital info and filling plot holes!

Sana, I may be wrong cause I only read DH once but doesn't everybody run at the wedding which was at the burrow because the death eaters were coming. The burrow was protected by the ministry and it fell.

@snuffy the order knew the ministry had been infiltrated so the order did not trust them... as for the wedding, i don't think the weasleys' orchard where the wedding took place was under protective enchantments coz all the guests were apparating at the entrance to the marquee, that's why harry had taken the polyjuice potion, so he wouldn't be recognized

@Sana, I was a book purist as well until GoF came out. After that, all my expectations went out the window. lol. Luckily, they never established in the films that the Burrow was under the protection of the ministry; so the Weasleys can use that Death Eater infiltration as a motivation to protect their house in DH (before that protection crumbles during the fall of the Ministry). I really do hope they show these clips online. i wanna see "the dead Dumbledore" in context, because it may just be the scene where Voldemort or Snape grabs the Elder Wand from the coffin. I'm glad they're leaving the radio scenes with Ron in. That part added a very personal touch to the books that made the experience that much more real for me.

Well either way, it might more be dramatic to show the DE's after Harry escapes interrogating guests and buring the place down. The only huge problem I had with any of the HP movies was with HBP, becuase they really didn't get across the idea that the world was falling into despair. They just briefly showed Diagon alley in shambles and that bridge collapsing but they really failed to get across the fact that people are already being killed and carted off. Its only mentioned in passing............. anyways, I like it if the director can show a few "extra" things and add new visuals if it gets across quickly the mood or setting of the movie.

@Snuffy and @Sana.....The Burrow was under protective enchantments, and only certain people were allowed to get to the house. This is why when Fleur's parents arrived, Mr. Weasley had to meet them beyond the borders of the enchantments and bring them into the protected area. All the wedding guests were brought in that way as well. They appeared outside the barrier, and were lead to the marquee, and then seated by Harry, Ron, Fred, and George. It was only after Scrimgeour was killed that Voldemort gained control of the Ministry, and the enchantments were removed....most likely by Pius Thicknesse....then the Death Eaters could get onto the grounds of the Burrow, and why they attacked at the wedding. Because the enchantments were gone, the wedding guests were able to disapparate when Kingsley's patronus appeared.

Some of my friends won a contest and got some tickets to comic con. Now, I found out that they ate dinner at a restaurant and saw Emma Watson there as well??! I didn't know she was going to be there too, but perhaps they were wrong? haha, oh well, I'm still soooo very jealous! This clip sounds amazing, whether it's a clip or trailer. I want to definately see it if it's a trailer, but I'm not so sure if it's a clip, cuz that reveals a lot!! But it probably won't be online anyway. I really wish I could have gone though!!! :D

@alexander i know wat u mean, i did not like any of the movies after PoA, i don't expect anything but i still hope... n the fact that they did not establish the burrow was under ministry protection is upsetting too. i think they should have added scrimgeour instead.

Harry Potter's own Draco Malfoy, Tom Felton, made an appearance at the San Diego Comic-Con today to introduce footage for the upcoming "Deathly Hallows" films, being released in November and July 2011, respectively. The footage shared played like an extended trailer for the pair of movies and opened with a mirror shard falling to the ground following by a profiled shot of Harry. Voice-over during the shots is Voldemort speaking about the people who have died and those who have suffered as a result of Harry. During the speech, shots of Dumbledore and other. The voice-over closes with Voldemort saying that he will "punish every last man, woman and child that tries to conceal you from me."
It switches to the familar scene in the forest with Voldemort and all of the Death Eaters when Harry arrives... and Voldemort's now famous line - "Harry Potter. The boy who live, come to die..." Then you see a bit of the wand duel in the forest. The scene then shifts to fast cuts that include dragons, the trip through Gringotts... and what looked like several Harry Potters standing with each other and various scenes of the epic final battle.
Next is a voice over from property newcomer Bill Nighy playing new Minister of Magic Rufus Scrimgeour who promises his loyals that "Your Ministry remains strong!"
Flash to a scene in a diner with the famous three - Harry, Hermione and Ron - discussing their next moves when they draw wands to defend themselves against an attack from a pair of other diner patrons.
Next, a scene at a long table with the Death Eaters sitting around it and Voldemort sitting at the head. Snape is there, giving Voldemort details of the whereabouts of Harry. Voldemort then reminds the group that he 'must be the one to kill Harry Potter.'
Fast cuts lead to the famous three, looking haggard and in hiding. Ron is yelling at Harry. Ron has been listening to the radio every night to make sure he doesn't hear that any of his family has died in the war. Harry barks back "Don't you think I've been listening too!' Ron nastily reminds Harry that his family is already dead and the two being to fight.
More fast action cuts which included a voice over about the demise of Minster of Magic. Then wand play with Bellatrix LeStrange... more fighting in the woods... in the sky on brooms and a shot of Harry's end fight with Voldemort.

@Sana....yes...it was at that point in the book that Moody said Thicknesse had "gone over," and that they had to change the plan to get Harry out of Privet Drive. And he said that they'd put every protective charm they could think of on a dozen houses. But the enchantments didn't fall until the middle of the wedding reception when Scrimgeour was killed, and Thicknesse became the Minister of Magic.

Maybe they meant that Harry and Hagrid were driving through Little Whinging on the motorbike, but they just wrote it wrong. As far as stuff being changed for the movie, I really don't mind. I'm going to enjoy the last two films nonetheless.

i listened to the podcast and Andrew said that he doesnt think it's going to be released, but that we'll probably see everything shown seperatly when WB releases the zillions of clips like they did with HBP. I'd must rather see it in a trailer format though... all together... today... lol! I really want to see the malfoy manor, seven potters, and Harry/Ron stuff. from what they said on the podcast it sounds like Ron has the radio before he leaves, cause he includes it when he's yelling at Harry.

I was there. ... *EAR TO EAR GRIN* First of all, don't worry about seeing the footage, I know at least three people behind me who recorded it. Second of all, WOW. Wow Wow Wow. I just sat there clutching my sister for support with my jaw on the floor. It's brilliant. Stunning. Heart-breaking. Flawless. Every adjective that is the opposite of negative! And Tom could not have been more sweet. And the shirt we got! *sigh* This whole day has been a dream for this HP fan. <3

Ok....If people can get hack systems and get movies that havent come out or just newly released in theaters and they can watch those, but we can't even get ahold of a 5 minute feature of a movie...thats sad...there is always a way...Im sure there is some computer genius that can get a hold of it. WHy does WB tease us like this...not everyone can go or even afford to go to comic con...its soooo unfair to say there is new never before seen footage at this thing and not everyone can see it...thats fair...I think the only apology WB can give us that we could be accepted is to release the footage online that comic con people got to see. Everyone agree with me???

I know that this is my 3rd time posting about this, but oh well. TO EVERYONE: NOWHERE IN THE PODCAST DID THEY SAY THAT HARRY AND HAGRIG WERE DRIVING THROUGH HOGWARTS!!! THEY DID SAY SOMETHING ABOUT A TUNNEL, WHICH BASICALLY MEANS THAT THEY WERE DRIVING THROUGH "THE CITY". THERE WERE PICTURES POSTED A LONG TIME AGO THAT SHOWED DAN AND ROBBIE DRIVING IN THE MOTORBIKE ON A STREET. ONCE AGAIN, IT'S PROBABLY JUST A MISTAKE ON THE POST. SORRY TO RANT, BUT I'M ALREADY GETTING ANNOYED BY ALL THE "WHAT?!?!" COMMENTS ABOUT IT.

I promise you guys it'll get around. One of the people behind me was on the phone with his buddy, literally saying "Yeah, I'm filming the whole thing too, man...yeah, and he is too, he's further up than me..." Patience... Also, the clips were NOT in 3D. They passed out the glasses, yes, but it was for a later panel. When I put the glasses on during the clips, everything was blurry, and off, it was fine. Oh, and as for this stuff with driving the motorbike around- it's like the chase scene from OotP when the Order takes Harry to Grimauld place when they fly by a boat in the movie but not in the book. They've embellished the details for the movie- Harry and Hagrid do still fly in the sky, but in the pursuit, they sometimes dip to the ground/road for a bit.

@DOKYOTO, very easily IF it was in the #D anyways. All you need to do is put one lens in front of the camera. AND YES IT DOES WORK> the camera will record the images fine but it will not be in 3d since only one lens of the glasses were used. But it looks like it wouldn't be needed cause it wasn't shown in 3D.

Heh I just came back home from Comic-Con and I need to say, the trailer was EPIC. The voice-overs, the shots, the music. Here a description of what I remember. There was a mirror shard falling(I think it was Harry's bedroom at the Dursley's home) and while it was falling he see Harry's reflection on it(He was staring at it and he had a Gray track sweater with a red shirt).
There was a voice over of Voldemort talking saying something like, "You have fought, valiantly. Yet you have sustained heavy losses. If you continue to resist, I will punish every last man, woman and child that tries to conceal you from me."
While he is talking they show Voldemort breaking into Dumbledore tomb and looming over his body(so creepy!), and some other scenes we've seen before.
It switches to the opening scene from the recent trailer with Voldemort and all of the Death Eaters in the forest when Harry arrives... and Voldemort's now famous line - "Harry Potter. The boy who live, come to die..." Then you see a bit of the wand duel in the forest. The scene then shifts to fast cuts that include the blind dragon breaking out, the trip through Gringotts(new), and the trio walking.
Then they show the 7 Potters scene with 6 of him circling the real Harry as he is telling them what to do( It was inside the kitchen and you can barely make out the Aurors in the background, with Moody holding a sack). This was then followed by some new shots of the Battle of Hogwarts(kids running in the courtyard and hallways casting spells. I think it was new?)
Next is a voice over from newcomer Bill Nighy playing Rufus Scrimgeour who states to the press and people that "Your Ministry remains strong!"(its a continuation of the clip we saw in the first teaser trailer of somebody getting photographed).
Immediately after we see Hermione, Ron and Harry sitting in the cafe(with Harry sitting with his back to the door), and Hermione says something like, "Voldemort has taken over the Ministry!". The next thing we see is 2 guys walk in with blue clothing and on of them pulling out a wand slowly(but not casting anything at them), then we see Hermione and Ron go under the table and shoot spells at them.(Awesome)
Next, we fade into a dark room with a long table and a bunch of people. We see Snape pulls up a chair to sit down and Voldemort looking immensely Happy that hes there. Snape gives Voldemort details of the whereabouts of Harry. Voldemort then reminds the group that he 'must be the one to kill Harry Potter.'
It cuts fast to the trio and Ron saying something that he's been listening to the radio everytime to make sure none of his family members are dead(sounds like they got rid of the goblin's revenge part with Dean and stuff), Harry says something like, "You think I don't know how this feels?" and then the rest I think is in the MTV clip.
Right after the fight, it fades and we hear a deep voice(Kingsley) say "The Ministry has fallen. Scrimgeour is dead. They are coming."(It has a echo effect. All the meanwhile they show some pulsing white light(patronus) and Harry looking at it. Then Harry looks towards the sky and sees the protection fail and Death Eaters coming. The next shot is total madness, everyone is running and yelling and theres fire(like the Quidditch world cup thing in the 4th movie), then Lupin grabs Harry and yells at him to go and run.
We see Bellatrix looking CRAZY and Harry and Hermione tied up(Not sure if they are tied up, I think Ron is with them too.) with them pulling them into the entrance of Malfoy Manor(OMG! Looks perfect). Bellatrix is saying something, then wee the Forest run and Hermione looking awesome as she cast some spells(Shes so powerful :O). We see Harry and Hagrid on the bike racing in the air and in some tunnel(doing some cool maneuvers). Then the final battle and thats it. There was more stuff but I forgot most of it(Like Dobby's grave and Parents Grave).

If Warner Brother's aired this clip at Comic con, there should be NO reason that the true, die-hard HP fans should be denied this footage. Come on, WB! Throw the fans a large, harry potter and the deathly hallows bone. It's cruel and unusual punishment to air this footage at an event that is open to those who bought tickets to comic con, is viewed by 6000 + fans, and then isin't released to the millions of fans who couldn't attend this one event. WB has less than a year to market the final two films in the HP franchise and this is the kind of crap they pull? I really want to get sick of harry potter trailers, not sitting on pins and needles every week till the movies come out! Come on, WB!

I'm just grateful for the trailers and clips we DO get to see, and I'm grateful for this awesome site where fans from all walks of life can connect and discuss their favorite books and movies as much as they want, and I'm grateful that DH is being made into a movie that is going to be awesome and I'm grateful for Harry Potter. Sure, this clip would be awesome to see. But I think we're losing sight of the BIG PICTURE here, people. We'll all see it eventually when DH is out. But in the meantime, let's be thankful for what we already have!

I agree with you, Sujay Kapre. Five minutes of footage is too much. If some people were complaining about "seeing the entire movie" with just a 2:30 trailer, then imagine what they'd say with five minutes worth of footage.

Hey i dont have the clip this guy on youtube has it ( i dont know him). he has a video up which shows the Harry potter panel just before they show the clip. Just got back home from San Diego Comic-Con. I did see the preview that WB revealed yesterday. It was a slightly longer version of the first official theatrical trailer. Hermione's hands were bloody this time. They showed Harry facing his seven lookalikes in the Dursleys' home. They also showed the group meeting between Voldemort and the Death Eaters described in the first chapter. Lots of explosions as the trio were chased by the Snatchers, with Hermione falling to the ground and then turning to fire her wand back. There was a scene of the dead Dumbledore with Voldemort's face above and staring at him. I hope they release the second trailer soon. We also got a WB bag with a T shirt showing a wanted poster for Harry for 10k galleons.

I know wat u all mean...I was 10 years old wen the first movie came out to theaters and I will be 20 years old when the final movie comes out...an entire decade of my life!!! I will always look back at my teen years and be like..."Wow...that was something I really enjoyed during that time period of my life" but then again...Harry Potter will never get old...I will cherish it for the rest of my life...and i will share it with my kids when I have some...Harry Potter is just a big part of who I am and its just...AMAZING!!!

OMG did anyone notice what 'Hunter O'Neil posted? Here it is Heh I just came back home from Comic-Con and I need to say, the trailer was EPIC. The voice-overs, the shots, the music. Here a description of what I remember. There was a mirror shard falling(I think it was Harry's bedroom at the Dursley's home) and while it was falling he see Harry's reflection on it(He was staring at it and he had a Gray track sweater with a red shirt). There was a voice over of Voldemort talking saying something like, "You have fought, valiantly. Yet you have sustained heavy losses. If you continue to resist, I will punish every last man, woman and child that tries to conceal you from me." While he is talking they show Voldemort breaking into Dumbledore tomb and looming over his body(so creepy!), and some other scenes we've seen before. It switches to the opening scene from the recent trailer with Voldemort and all of the Death Eaters in the forest when Harry arrives... and Voldemort's now famous line - "Harry Potter. The boy who live, come to die..." Then you see a bit of the wand duel in the forest. The scene then shifts to fast cuts that include the blind dragon breaking out, the trip through Gringotts(new), and the trio walking. Then they show the 7 Potters scene with 6 of him circling the real Harry as he is telling them what to do( It was inside the kitchen and you can barely make out the Aurors in the background, with Moody holding a sack). This was then followed by some new shots of the Battle of Hogwarts(kids running in the courtyard and hallways casting spells. I think it was new?) Next is a voice over from newcomer Bill Nighy playing Rufus Scrimgeour who states to the press and people that "Your Ministry remains strong!"(its a continuation of the clip we saw in the first teaser trailer of somebody getting photographed). Immediately after we see Hermione, Ron and Harry sitting in the cafe(with Harry sitting with his back to the door), and Hermione says something like, "Voldemort has taken over the Ministry!". The next thing we see is 2 guys walk in with blue clothing and on of them pulling out a wand slowly(but not casting anything at them), then we see Hermione and Ron go under the table and shoot spells at them.(Awesome) Next, we fade into a dark room with a long table and a bunch of people. We see Snape pulls up a chair to sit down and Voldemort looking immensely Happy that hes there. Snape gives Voldemort details of the whereabouts of Harry. Voldemort then reminds the group that he 'must be the one to kill Harry Potter.' It cuts fast to the trio and Ron saying something that he's been listening to the radio everytime to make sure none of his family members are dead(sounds like they got rid of the goblin's revenge part with Dean and stuff), Harry says something like, "You think I don't know how this feels?" and then the rest I think is in the MTV clip. Right after the fight, it fades and we hear a deep voice(Kingsley) say "The Ministry has fallen. Scrimgeour is dead. They are coming."(It has a echo effect. All the meanwhile they show some pulsing white light(patronus) and Harry looking at it. Then Harry looks towards the sky and sees the protection fail and Death Eaters coming. The next shot is total madness, everyone is running and yelling and theres fire(like the Quidditch world cup thing in the 4th movie), then Lupin grabs Harry and yells at him to go and run. We see Bellatrix looking CRAZY and Harry and Hermione tied up(Not sure if they are tied up, I think Ron is with them too.) with them pulling them into the entrance of Malfoy Manor(OMG! Looks perfect). Bellatrix is saying something, then wee the Forest run and Hermione looking awesome as she cast some spells(Shes so powerful :O). We see Harry and Hagrid on the bike racing in the air and in some tunnel(doing some cool maneuvers). Then the final battle and thats it. There was more stuff but I forgot most of it(Like Dobby's grave and Parents Grave). OMG SO EXCITING@!@

And some of these HP fans that have been BASHING these movies relentlessly for unnecessary things like character's hair. Dan's eyes, Dumbledore.. and so on and so forth. Well.. THIS IS YOUR PUNISHMENT LOL! WB Simply Won't send any of the sneak peek footage. And you know what guys? Ain't a damn thing we can do about it. So how about we be patient, swallow our pride and wait until this November and July to see everything? We did that with HBP when it got delayed. We can do it again. All in all, these last movies will be the BEST in history, and that is comfort enough for the short wait

This is Melissa and Andrew's fault. Seriously. If they hadn't gushed so much about the Dumbledore tomb shot, the cinematography, Voldemort's more calmed-down demeanor vs. his giddiness as Snape tells him when Harry will be transported, no seriously this is all your fault. I won't pretend though, the report was awesome and it's the closest, most personal take on the footage we'll get. Every other comment from San Diego is just stuff like "it was cool" or "it was really good" etc. Yeah. We know. David Yates is directing it. It's no mystery that it's "cool" and "very good." We got the memo when Order of the Phoenix came out.

What if it was all just a scheme because they saw that the fandom was starting to die down, so in order to bring it back to life, and bring the fans back together, they told everyone who didn't attend ComicCon that they released a trailer and weren't going to show it to the fans. At Comic-Con, we were told repeatedly not to record any footage released by the movie studios, and I think that most people respected that. I think WB is probably monitoring YouTube and other video sites and having YouTube take videos down if they showed any preview recordings from Comic-Con. HPDH was shown after the Green Lantern panel. Some random scenes I remember being shown in the preview included Harry and Hermione at Godric's Hallow cemetery looking at his parents' grave. There was another one of Harry at the wedding with a voiceover announcing that the Ministry had fallen and a clip of Remus shouting to Harry to run and escape as the Wedding was being invaded by Death Eaters. Another was Hagrid and Harry on the motorbike with Hagrid turning on dragon fire from the exhaust of the motorbike during the chase. A frontal shot of Rufus Scrimgeour ( I assume directly looking at Harry) introducing himself in an ominous manner. There was one of Harry standing over the grave of Dobby, a slightly longer scene of Ron and Harry arguing with Ron (clearly wearing the Horcrux locket around his neck) telling Harry that his parents were dead before the two attemped to land blows on each other. I thought I saw the scene where the trio were brought to the gates of Malfoy Manor by Fenrir Greyback, although it seemed like Bellatrix Lastrange was on the other side of the gate being told that one of them was Harry Potter. There was a brief scene of Bellatrix holding a knife to Hermione's neck during the escape attempt from Malfoy Manor. There was a voiceover of Snape telling Voldemort about 12 Grimmauld Place. There was a scene of the trio seated in the cafe talking to each other, and two patrons at the counter with their backs towards us suddenly turn and a wand fight erupts between them (the Death Eaters) and Potter.
