MuggleNet Fan of the Week: Mikayla

This week's Fan of the Week is Mikayla from Texas, US. She is 17 years old, and tells us how she became a Harry Potter fan:

"I became a Harry Potter fan because of peer pressure. Mainly, family pressure. My oldest brother first read it and inspired my parents to read it, but I was too young to want to read a 180 some odd paged book when I could watch it on a screen in front of me. It wasn't till I saw the first movie that I grew the desire to read the books. From there, I was no longer a muggle."
