More news, sweet, we are getting spoilt this week. I would love some news on the book tho.

I've been trying my best to resist the temptation to look at any pictures or videos about the new film, but to me, its pretty much set in stone anyway; this is going to be be one of those films where joygasms are aplenty. In other words, excellent. I do hope they don't plan on ruining all the suprises for fans by releasing lots of footage and pix, like they did with GoF. :-( We'd all pieced together the film before it was released! This time round, I'm going to only watch whatever comes on my TV about it.

i dont like this at all,the fountain in the ministry(cant remember what it was called)was different compared to the one it the book and isnt the ministry supposed to be underground??well i'll put that aside what about harry's hand and the words written in it in the movie was 'i must not break rules' its so less dramatic compared to 'i must not tell lies' then what about rons hair i thought its supposed to be red and in the trailer they were riding on bromsticks but in the book it was thestrals and leave alone that did u notice how close they flew near the ferry and maybe you guys tell me they didnt want to waste time but wouldnt be easier if they were higher up they wont be any obstacles there and it cant be the guard cause they were flying there in full muggle view*gasping for breath*i told everything and i'll add more on later....

Very good! so Dan finished filming the movie! that means they finished filming it. But he still has to be there doing interviews and more stuff, he is like always tere working. -----annish007, I don't know if you know this, but Jo told the movie makers she doesn't want them to be literal with the books and she talks often with them, so Jo approves all the changes, so if Jo thinks it's right, then the fans shouln't contradict her. Also, why do you think the Ministry is not undergroud? just because the set is not undergroud it doesn't mean they won't make it look like it is, they don't have to do an underground set lol. There are pics of Harry and Arthur using the telephone box to enter the Ministry, so they are doing it like they book says. About the hand, it's just a line, maybe even Jo said them to write that. The important thing is that they fimed that scene and they made Umbrigde look evil with that punishment and show Harry's courage because he doesn't complain and stand the pain while he fights her teaching the DA. What Harry writes is not the important thing, the punishment is what matters. If that line suits the movie better then it doesn't matter if it's not the same in the book. This is an adaptation, remember. And it would have changed something in the book if that line was different? no. And we don't know if that's Harry's hand in those pics (all I know is that's not Dan's hand), and in the book there are more students that have that same punishment, it can be other student with that line. Also, the ones who are riding with the brooms are not the DA, it's the Order, it's like the book. Yes it's the guard, if you watch the trailer frame by frame you will see Tonks, Harry and Shacklebolt. I suggest you wait to see themovie, because experience tell me that people criticize things and then it's proved they were wrong. ;) Also some critics are very immature because it shows a lot of fans don't understand what an adaptation is, Jo understand it.

nearly_headless_nick good job you tell the hatters...its true that when they make an adaptation it has to appeal to movie-goers and not just the fans...for a movie to work some things have to change...it's just like the lord of the rings, for the movies to work some things had to be changed or left out...oh and the ministry will be undergound didn't everyone see the pics of the telephone booth being lowered with wires from the ceiling of the ministry set...

Danny Radcliffe is the bomb. He rules so much. The trailer was pretty malme except when he tongued cho chang and some of the broomstick scenes... Radcliffe= gangsterness

WB must be monitoring audience reaction for Dan to make this comment. And I agree! The trailer was great! Just enough to tease and the tiny second peek at the kiss clinched it. It's one of the most anticipated films of next year and if the response to the trailer is anything to go by, we have another blockbuster HP movie in the can... IMO, I think it's partly responsible for why "Happy Feet" is currently number one at the boxoffice, beating James BOnd by a million. Many people went to see the penguins just to see the OotP trailer.

I'm LOVING Dan's high-and-tight haircut. At first I hated it, and it has grown on me haha. And, I agree with nearly_headless_nick. The movies aren't THE BOOKS in movie form. It is a film adaptation of the book, meaning they stick to the general plotline but a lot of things are changed and cut to appeal to movie goers. Amen. Hehe. Can't wait.

Having just watched the "longer" trailer (3:50) with the commentaries - which is awesome - I have one comment - is it me or when Snape told Harry to prove that he's not afraid, it seemed to me Snape acted like he actually cared.
