Today, we join with the rest of the country and many around the world, pausing to reflect upon those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.

Many of you, like MuggleNet, were still very young. But these events have come to shape all of our lives and the world in which we live today.

Here is what some of our staff remembers about that Tuesday morning:

Kat: I walked out of my art history class to find a group of students huddled around a television that had been setup in the hallway. I walked over and asked a girl I was friendly with what was going on. She didn't say a word, but just pointed at the image of the first tower on fire. She said a plane hit it about ten minutes ago. We put our arms around each others shoulders and prayed for NYC.

Noah: We all went home early from elementary school that day, and I was surprised and happy to see my dad there already. He had to take a train in from New York City.

Emerson: I was in my bed, sleeping, when Dylan woke me up: "New York is under attack." What a scary way to wake up. I ran downstairs just in time to see the second tower struck.

Keith: I was home form work that Tuesday morning and turned on the television at about 8:50 am to see the World Trade Center on fire. I thought I was watching a movie until I looked and saw and it was on CNN from the night before. I was mesmerized by what I was watching. Then the second plane hit, and immediately I knew what was happening and instinct from the military told me we were under attack and headed for war.

Share your story and join us in remembering the heroes and loved ones who lost their lives that day.

Our thoughts and prayers are with their families as we continue to never forget.
