Vote for 'Perks of Being A Wallflower' and 'The Woman in Black' in MTV's Movie Brawl 2012

While this isn't your typical Harry Potter news item, we thought we would have a little fun and help promote two of the Harry Potter stars with their current projects.

Each year MTV hosts a movie of the year bracket competition, called the MTV Movie Brawl, to see which new movie release the fans are looking forward to seeing for that year. This year, since we don't have a new Harry Potter movie coming out, let's help out some of our Potter favorites win the championships.

Emma Watson - who portrayed Hermione Granger in the Potter series - has a feature movie being released this year called The Perks of Being A Wallflower. This movie is currently ranked at the No. 6 position in the brawl and will be facing off against the No. 3 seeded, The Hobbit, the prequel to The Lord of the Rings phenomenon. Vote for The Perks of Being A Wallflower and let's see if we can't take down the odds on favorite Middle Earth.

Daniel Radcliffe - Harry Potter himself in the fim series - has his latest project, The Woman in Black, coming out February 10th. Currently ranked No. 7 in its respective MTV Brawl Division, it is going up against the No. 2 seeded, Snow White and the Huntsman. We think The Woman in Black should scare the heck out of Snow White in this round.

If both The Perks of Being A Wallflower and The Woman In Black win this round, they will be facing off against each other in the next round. That would make for an interesting matchup.
