Universal Orlando announcing details of new experiences; 'Wizarding World' expansion may be included in announcement but not likely

Update: The Facebook page for Universal Orlando has been updated: "And some of you may be wondering whether that announcement will include an update on what we have planned for the JAWS! area...We want you to know that won't be part of our announcement." As we said earlier, any announcement of the 'Wizarding World' expansion is highly unlikely, and this only confirms that statement. But if we hear anything new at all, we will be sure to report that news to you right away.

In a new article from Inside The Magic, Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, has announced a major media only webcast that will be held on January 25th at 10:30AM EST offering a "first look" at the new experiences that will debut this year.

On their Facebook account, Universal Orlando is promising its fans "ALL the details about ALL the amazing new experiences" starting with hints and sneak peeks leading up to the big announcement" next week.

Universal Orlando has confirmed a major expansion of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, but that topic might not be part of this announcement since it will not be debuting during 2012. However, we will keep our fingers crossed for some kind of announcement from Universal and will update you as soon as we know more information.
