As the title of the news post suggests, something big is indeed coming to the website. However, due to the sheer magnitude of this announcement, we've made all the staff on the site swear an unbreakable vow to keep its secrecy for the next three weeks. Unfortunately, this may not entirely stop them from giving hints about it in their bios on the staff page, or in miscellaneous sections around the site.

What we can tell you is this: Alohomora! is the name of MuggleNet.com's BIG new project.

What is it? We can't tell you of course, but we can say rather ambiguously that it's about the fans. It's fans like you that make the Harry Potter fandom what it is, far more than the movies or the celebrities or the fansites could possibly contribute. That's why we would like you to be a fundamental part of this new project, and to be so at every stage of its development.

For those of you ready to collaborate with us on this creative joint-venture, we need some help.

We need an image - a logo you might say - but as of yet each of our staff has drawn a blank. Then we had the idea that the fans should have an opportunity to create it. If you would like the chance to be a part of this project in an extremely significant way, please submit an image of what "Alohomora!" looks like to you in an email addressed to me, at Noah@staff.mugglenet.com.

Great wonders lie beyond, when you seek to open the Dumbledore.
