Last week we announced the staff of MuggleNet.com were working on a secret project, and with that announcement we called on the fandom to help us produce an emblem or logo for it.

We did this, and yet being extremely elusive we did not give the fans any details about what we were looking for or what Alohomora! was really about.

The time has come to change that: we can now confirm that this mysterious something is not an April Fool's joke.

We would give you further information, but Harry, Ron, Hermione and Albus Dumbledore have already done enough damage. For some reason these characters have left the book series we all know and love in order to settle here on our site, leaving various hidden clues about the proposed MuggleNet project for all of its visitors.

Clearly we're beside ourselves with terror - Alohomora! in all of its enormity cannot be revealed for another two weeks (Wednesday, April 18th at precisely 6:00pm EDT, specifically). Dumbledore of all wizards knows that.

For your benefit, we will try to clean up some of the mess they left around miscellaneous pages of the site and update you on our progress this time next week. Until then, we are still searching for the perfect logo design for our new project, which is ultimately going to be a collaboration between MuggleNet staff and the fandom. Please send all submissions to me at Noah@staff.mugglenet.com.

It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live.
