The Ministry of Magic Wizarding Examinations Authority has been extremely busy creating your Ordinary Wizarding Level Examinations or O.W.L.s. Are you ready?

On Monday June 11th, you will be allowed to enter the Great Hall, receive your candidate number and take your seat for your exams. You will be able to take as many subject exams as you wish; however, you may only take each of the exams one time and none of the exams will be identical! The O.W.L. Exams will end on June 24th.

The exams are for all twelve courses offered at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry:

  • Charms
  • Transfiguration
  • Astronomy
  • Ancient Runes
  • Arithmancy
  • Defense Against The Dark Arts
  • Potions
  • Herbology
  • Care of Magical Creatures
  • Divination
  • Muggle Studies
  • History of Magic

Each of the exams are a timed exam of either 30 minutes or 20 minutes based on the subject. Once you start your exam, you must complete it. Any unanswered questions will be marked incorrect. Upon completion of the exam, you will be sent an E-owl with your grades from all of the exams you have taken thus far.

If you feel you still need more study material, head over to the OWL preparation area on MuggleNet Interactive to review some of the tutoring sessions that have been conducted over the last month.

Will you be able to be a Healer, Auror, or Ministry of Magic employee? Only your exam results will guide your future wizarding careers, so study hard and good luck!
