On Sunday, August 5 at precisely 10:30am EDT, Harry Potter fans around the world will revisit the story of the orphan boy stuck in the cupboard under the stairs...simultaneously.

As a final component of our analysis of the Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone book, myself and the other hosts of our new podcast Alohomora! have elected to lead a global viewing of the first movie, and a general discussion of it to follow. It should be a coordinated effort of magical enjoyment and analysis the likes of which has never been seem before.

To take part in this re-watch here's what you need to do:

- Join MuggleNet staff briefly in the common room (our UStream channel) 5-10 minutes prior to 10:30am so we can count down!
- Begin watching the movie at approximately 10:30am on your DVD player/computer. (Please note: We will not be streaming the movie online. You will need a personal copy to participate)
- Enjoy chatting with other fans as the movie plays in either the UStream chat bar, or for more detailed film analysis in our forums!

As we reported previously, immediately following the end of the movie, Alohomora! will be recording its first ever live show where listeners can actually call in to us via phone: 1-206-GO-ALBUS (462-5287) or via Skype: AlohomoraMN - and discuss the movie, the whole of book one, and much much more!
