The moment I picked up a Harry Potter book, I suddenly started failing my classes as I turned to drugs. I have been in and out of rehab several times. I'd stay clean for awhile, but then I'd get an itch for a Harry Potter book. Mere minutes after opening the book, I turned back to my drug use. This recently resulted in me getting fired because while on drugs, I tried to hex my boss. i do not understand first of all how this lady can say anything without reading the books thats a little judgemental for such a good christian. the harry potter series are the best books i have ever read and certainly do not make me want to go do witchcraft or drugs or have sex. harry potter is not the problem with kids today its crazy parents like her. in fact if more kids were sitting in their rooms reading harry potter less would be out on the streets.

I continue to be disappointed in humankind when there are such ignorant and genuinely stupid people in the world. Also, I would love to point out to her that obviously my 4.0 GPA, modest clothing, and church-going are symptoms of my involvement in the ancient religion of Wicca. Thank goodness I know how to draw the line between reading and enjoying a piece of literature and joining a cult which will lead to me being "suicidal" (perverted, drug addicted... and surely in a circle of goat's blood and candles.)
