No Harry Potter convention would be complete without a Wizard Rock show and MISTI-Con has an incredible line-up waiting for you.

  • Diagon Alley - Our headliners for the evening, you can't truly describe a DA show, you simply have to experience it. Audiences have been blow away by the "Flogging Molly of Wizard Rock" from Wrockstock, Victory over Voldemort Day, the Quidditch World Cup and much more. This band's energy should help you shave a few hours off your need for sleep that Friday night.
  • Undesirable #1 - Richard Grooms is the Gryffindor behind this solo project. His rhymes and theme choices show a deep appreciation and love of both the fiction of the books, and the fandom that supports them.
  • Hawthorn and Holly - This pop punk wrock foursome is one of the most upbeat bands in Wizard Rock. Their high energy is infectious and will get you on your feet and up to the dance floor.
  • The Blibbering Humdingers - Probably one of the funniest duos in the genre. Kirsten and Scott Vaughn are simply hysterical. Their razor sharp lyrics turn the most serious scenes in the book into ... something else entirely. Passing comments on bus rides have turned into hit songs, and an entire generation of Hufflepuffs has them to thank for their career choices.
  • Swish and Flick - With roots in electronica, pop and rock and roll, SnF are the only Wizard Rock band that also has their own dance team, Flick's Fly Girls. With a combination of great guitar work and risque lyrics, it just isn't a Wizard Rock party without Swish and Flick.

After Hours With Lauren and Matt

Saturday night 11:55am Till Whenever in the 24 hour breakroom (Mariah Room)

Lauren Fairweather and Matt Maggiacomo will entertain you with a variety of songs about wizards, trees, bears, and other magical creatures! In addition to performing their own songs, they are also taking requests for wizard and muggle covers! Please leave your requests as comments on their Facebook event -- they need to rehearse the songs in order to play them for you.

Side Stage in the Main Lobby

MISTI-Con will also have a performance side stage in the main lobby for those interested in performing acoustic sets. If you would like to sign up for a performance slot, please e-mail them at info@misti-con.org. This is a high traffic area and the time slots will be avaialble during all times of the con.

Several MuggleNet staff members will be in attendance at this great Harry Potter fan convention at the beautiful Margate Resort in Laconia, New Hampshire. If you haven't already done so, you can head over to the MISTI-Con website right here and register today. See you there!
