The Powerhouse Museum in Sydney Australia was the host for the first stop on the International tour for Harry Potter: The Exhibition when it arrived November of 2011 and was open until April 9th of this year.

Last night, the 2012 NSW Tourism Awards were announced and The Exhibition won the Sun Herald Reader's Choice Award. You can see a large image of the award by clicking right here.

Harry Potter: The Exhibition is currently back in the Unite States at the Discovery Times Square until April 7, 2013. Several of the MuggleNet Staff members will be attending The Exhibition on December 15th, so if you are visiting on that day, be sure to say hello.

Quidditch started in the 11th century at a place called Queerditch Marsh, which is not marked on muggle maps because wizards have made the place unplottable. Originally it was quite a crude game played on broomsticks with just the quaffle.
