lmao i agree with annie! he is quite adorable in interviews... He flips excitedly through the pile. 'What's great is occasionally I'll mention a band in an interview - like, I mentioned Arcade Fire in an interview with Rolling Stone last year. Lo and behold, a month later a crate of Arcade Fire stuff turned up!' he beams. I liked that part.

zzzzz......oh excuse me, we have a release date for the 7th Harry Potter book, knows one cares anymore of what you have to say. Well, maybe the 11 year olds and the soccermoms (40 and up)and then you better make sure you take off you shirt to get their attention. perhaps she's struggling with how to integrate his portrait? or maybe dumbledore had the two-way mirror (I know it's a long shot, but Harry missed out on Sirius having it)

I love to read Dan's interveiws. Sometimes you start to forget that he's really just a normal teenager like you and I. He seems like a person that would actually understand why a teenager can sit down and keep up [intellectually] with an adult.-- And on the book news, I don't think that means he's back. It could mean anything. Maybe characters greiving over his death is getting in the way of things that need to be done? Maybe He left more information than they could handle? Maybe too little? It could be anything...-- "Doesn't that make your **** shrink?" xDD

He's pretty funny.... A little. Anyway, I figure it would be the potrait of the headmaster. It's an imprint of life, so I can see where it may give Jo problems.

Yup- I'm pretty sure she's just having trouble writing him coping with Dumbledore- or aren't we supposed to learn more about his past? Yup bingo that's it... I've always thought he gave the best intreviews of the three...

DD gave Jo trouble? It couldn't have just been his portrait--he must be pretty intricately involved. I've said it since HBP and I'll say it again, Dumbledore is still alive.

yay to dumbledor! although most realize that he would be back by way of harry's memories, he's got to deal with the death and dumbledor was pretty much the voldy expert. but as to harry dieing, that's so sad, it may happen, but i don't have to like it! ;-)

ok, what you think about this.... i NEVER believe dumbledore was dead... why you think they made a big deal outta doing spells sliently... what happened was.. snape did the killing curse but it didnt work cos he didnt mean it. at the same time dumbledore unfroze harry and appeared dead...OR if dumbledore IS really dead then he could come back as a ghost and help Harry anyway... remember a while ago in the early books harry talkd to headless nick?? and he told harry you could choose to be a ghost or to go on .... hmmmmm.....

DUMBLEDORE IS STILL DEAD. she was just merely commenting on the fact that she is writing scenes involving him - and that it is complex because he is dead but is in DH in some other form (example: portrait in his office). i seriously dont undertsand what it is with some of you... do you just skim the article for what you want and discard the information you don't like?

First of all, I would like to point out (again) to everyone who is saying Dumbledore might not be dead... he is. Jo would NOT lie to us. Second of all, didn't Jo say we would learn more about Dumbledore's childhood or history or something like that? That would be interesting to learn about.

I'm sorry but Dumbledore IS dead. She would not say that when it isn't true. She was too direct. I'm thinking we will see Dumbledore either talking through his portrait OR in a memory. He's is NOT alive.

More complex? I love it when it's more complex!:) But we have to keep in mind that she said to us that he won't pull a Gandalf. So... he won't be back in person, I think. Not corporeal:p Right now, I think of it as other secrets Dumbledore had and other things we still need to find out (gleam of triumph etc) that will be explained in the book. Pensieve-Dumbledore? Portrait-Dumbledore (maybe she exaggerated in the MN&TLC interview?;p) Ghost-Dumbledore is unlikely... Echo/Priori Incantatem-Dumbledore? (I think that one's pretty likely) er... what else have we got...? Prophecy-Dumbledore? (veeeeery unlikely) Letters, stories of other people... Oh, I like this statement!

YEs! out of the trio, Dan's interviews are definetely the best because he reveals alot about himself and is just hilarious. I'm not sure if this was the same interview I just read at SS, but here are some of my "points" I got from the interview I just read, hopefully it was this one... Anyway... Dan states::: That he's had two serious girlfriends but does "not have one at the moment" JKR is coming to see Equus! that should set tongues to wagging..... It was Kenneth Branagh, in COs, that first told Dan he should consider doing the part of Alan in Equus, and even set up some workshops for him. Dan also states that he did so much better in school once he started doing Harry Potter because of the one on one tutoring on set daily. (which I can totally back because I'm homeschooled:) Hope this little comment doesn't bother anyone, sorry I just had to enclude it because it was just so funny lol. I guess DAn's read and seen some of the reactions of his nude pics and the fact that he's so fit because he states that: "I haven't been taking loads of steroids and stuff! that would actually be the worst thing I could do actually. Don't they make your **** shrink??"

This doesn't necessarily mean he's back. When Jo says she's having trouble with Dumbledore she could mean trouble with something he did or said
