MuggleNet Exclusive interview with creator of the LEGO Hogwarts set Alice Finch at EMCC

Emerald City Comicon was nothing short of amazing, and at the convention we had the opportunity to catch up with Alice Finch, builder of a LEGO Hogwarts that has recently garnered much attention from the fan community. Alice was kind enough to answer a few lingering questions we had about the structure including a few additions yet to come.

The castle is so detailed that she even has customized personalizations for each character in the different rooms from the potions dungeon, staircases, portraits, boys dormitory, and much more. Alice revealed she had hundreds of printouts of Hogwarts to assist during construction, and that she worked on it mainly at night. "There's a little of every movie in it." she states as she indicates the dragon perched around one of the turrets. As we told you in our initial post, there are over 400,000 pieces that make up the castle. When we asked if this was a finished with project, she responded that she intends to build a quidditch pitch, to complete the castle.

We were also privileged enough to take a few pictures of the intricate detail of the castle to include the grounds, exterior, and interior:
