I was truly worried when I heard that WB was threathening to replace Dan as Harry Potter just because he is in Equus. Ok, I know I can't trust everything I read, but I did. So I am more than happy that WB sent this press release to let the world know that they support Dan! So a big THANK YOU to WB! Dan is a great actor and they would do a very bad mistake if they replaced Dan as Harry Potter.

I knew those rumors had to be bunk. Dan is becoming a very good actor and his role in Equus is only going to make him better. I'm sure WB will want to work with him for the remainder of the HP films and other movies in the future. They also know that if they had to re-cast him, the HP movies would lose a lot of money. They're not stupid...excpet for that crazy stuff that went on with Gary Oldman. Good for Dan. I can't wait to see how he improves with the next three films.

It's awesome Dan took the time to sign autographs, I'm sure he was very tired after the play finished, it's a very exhausting role. So it's says many of good thigs of him that he attended them.

I love it how people said that WB SHOULD support him. I honestly don't see a reason why Dan shouldn't be supported. What he is doing is not "wrong" or "disgusting". He's an actor, and I find it hard to believe that he is the first to ever play such a role (even at his age). I would have to raise my eyebrows if WB said that they did not stand behind him. Mmmm dear 'nearly_headless_nick', I was not talking about his performance (bad or good I really do not know it) in 'Equus'. In fact WB was talking about his performances in the HP movies, too. Personally, I think Dan is very talented. He has some bad moments, but I believe he is getting better with every film. Equus is really going to help him with his trade. I think we will see a radical difference in Dan when HBP comes out.

Edward88Italy, they don't say they are talking specifically about HP movies. Anyway Daniel has done 2 movies and a play since the last time you saw him (because I suposse you saw GoF) so you don't really know how he is now. Knowing how he improves with every new proyect he does, I am not surprised they can call him an extremely good actor. And after all it's an opinion, you shouldn't talk like your opinion is a fact and they know less than you. They have seen OotP, they think December Boys is so good that they bought it to distribute it in the USA, and I'm sure they have already seen him in Equus, so yes I think they know more than us.
